Disney4me Posted July 3, 2020 Report Posted July 3, 2020 Tomorrow is Independence Day, which means it’s time to salute all things AMERICAN! Sam Eagle Although Walt Disney World theme parks are closed to the public until July 11th (starting with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom followed by EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on July 15th), select Disney hotels reopened on June 22nd. If you’ll be spending the holiday weekend in Walt Disney World, we spotted a special patriotic treat just for you! We’ve noticed a Fourth of July Cupcake has shown up at a few of the resorts including Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort! We spotted it on the My Disney Experience app’s mobile order menu where it’s listed under the moniker, Patriotic Cupcake and it costs $5.49! According to the app, it’s a chocolate cupcake filled with marshmallow, topped with red, white and blue buttercream, sprinkles, and fondant stars! Screenshot From Gaspirilla’s Mobile Order Menu It looks like Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort might be offering a similar Fourth of July Cupcake as well! Of course, you also gotta check out these Blondie Pops we also spotted on Gasparilla Island Grill’s bill of fare yesterday! Happy Fourth of July to all our friends who are staying at home or at Disney World! Here’s to a relaxing, cupcake-filled weekend, wherever you are!
