Downtown Disney’s World of Disney And we’ve just learned Disneyland is extending a special offer to its Cast Members, giving them the chance to visit the District for a soft opening on Wednesday, July 8th. ©Disney That’s right — Downtown Disney will open on July 8th for Cast Members before its grand reopening on Thursday, July 9th. If you’re a Cast Member and would like to take Disney up on this exclusive opportunity, registration will open today at 5PM Pacific. Additional information can be found on the HUB (that’s a special internal communications system Disney uses to stay in touch with its Cast Members!).
