Animal Kingdom Lodge We’re just a few days out from the reopening of several Disney Vacation Club resort hotels in Disney World. Recently, we noticed that DVC members COULD book at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House, despite it not being listed as one of the resorts opening on June 22nd. Now, we have some new information. Disney added a new statement to the Jambo House page on the Disney Vacation Club site that explains the situation. Jambo House will NOT be opening in the initial stage on June 22nd. Instead, those with existing reservations will have their bookings transferred to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. As capacities grow, Jambo House will eventually reopen to accommodate. Jambo House Statement The statement also notes that when Jambo House does reopen, some amenities and restaurants may remain closed until the full reopening of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Dining and merchandise locations will be open at Kidani Village, though.
