While we already took you with us to the Boathouse to have the Rubber Duck Drink, Truffle Fries, and some Crab Cakes, we’ve got some news for all you vintage car lovers and Disney Springs explorers out there! The Boathouse may be the home to the boat booth (which is one of our favorite places to sit), but the real “boats” are right outside the restaurant! In case you’ve never heard of them, the Amphicars are “amphibious automobiles” that will literally drive you around the lake in Disney Springs! Amphicars Sign While a car usually costs $125 for a 20-minute ride, a Cast Member told us today that the Amphicars are currently being discounted to $75 for the same amount of time! He also told us guests aren’t allowed in the front seat right now. Instead, two or three people can sit (or squeeze) in the back of the car as you take in the sights and sounds of Disney Springs. Amphicar Although he wasn’t sure how long the discount would run through, the Cast Member shared there’s a possibility it would continue as long as the front seat is off-limits. If you’re not ready to take the plunge, or you’re just waiting your turn, don’t forget to pay attention to the distancing markers on the ground around the Amphicar loading dock.
