Universal Orlando got an endorsement to reopen on June 5 — two weeks from today — from Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings whose letter to the governor supports the resort’s “phased-approach.”Demings sent the letter to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday morning outlining the county’s review of Universal safety plan.
