Disney4me Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 The adorable li’l Orange Bird soared into our lives last year at The Citrus Blossom and we haven’t been able to forget about it since! The Orange Bird Sipper RETURNS to Disney World at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival in Epcot! Come along with as we find out whether the Orange Cream Shake is as good as last year’s slush! Food The Citrus Blossom is staying true to its roots and is serving up the same foods we saw last year (but we can’t complain!). 2020 Citrus Blossom Menu Lobster Tail with Meyer Lemon Emulsion and grilled lemon is a gluten-friendly option perfect for seafood lovers who need a protein boost to make it from booth to booth! The lemon works well with the lobster and it’s a pretty good serving size for $8.25. Lobster Tail with Meyer Lemon Emulsion You can also try the Tuna Tataki Bowl with spicy yuzu glaze, mango, avocado, and pappadam crisp. There’s a lot of different flavors working here, from the spiciness of the glaze to the fruitiness of the mango that makes an interesting combination for $6.25. Tuna Tataki The Crispy Citrus Chicken with orange aïoli and baby greens is a nice break from the seafood. We enjoyed the tang from the aïoli on the crispy outer shell of the chicken. This is also a great gluten-friendly choice for $5.75. Crispy Citrus Chicken We can’t forget about dessert and the Citrus Shortcake with orange chiffon cake, lemon curd, mandarins, whipped cream, and citrus crumble brings both the sweet and sour flavors to work in harmony. You can try it for yourself for $4.50. Citrus Shortcake Beverage Now on to the reason many of us are here: Orange Bird! This year, the “Orange Cream Slush” transformed into the non-alcoholic Orange Cream Shake and is served in the precious Orange Bird Sipper Cup. This hot commodity will run you $15.00. Orange Bird Sipper You can also pick up Islamorada Beer Company’s Coconut Key Lime Ale, First Magnitude Brewing’s Lemon Hefeweizen, or Heavy Seas Brewery’s TropiCannon Citrus IPA either separately for $4.50 each or sample the beer flight for $9.50. Beer Flight Also returning from last year is the Orange Sunshine Wine Slushy, but we’re so glad it did! This citrus-sweet beverage is very refreshing for $6.50.
