Disney4me Posted November 16, 2019 Report Posted November 16, 2019 Well, maybe just half a drink more… Trader Sam’s We’re LOVING all the tasty Christmas-themed drinks being shaken and stirred in Disneyland! We’ve already tried the Holiday Egg Nog, Horchata Aqua Fresca, and the Cranberry Julep for the holiday season, and now we’re stopping by a Disney hotel for another round of sweet drinks! Along with their festive decor, Trader Sam’s at the Disneyland Hotel is stepping away from the hot cocoa and mixing up three boozy Christmas beverages — Jungle All the Way, Peppermint Barks, and Gin-ger Snaps! Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar Jungle All the Way takes guests on a trip to the tropics with its Fernet Branca, Kahlua, lime juice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream combination. Trader Sam’s Christmas Menu Although this drink is supposed to be the fruitiest of the three, the Fernet Branca balances out the sweet pineapple and coconut flavors with its spiciness! It’s kinda similar in taste to a hot toddy, but with a lot stronger fruit flavors! It’s delicious AND has super pretty colors! Jungle All the Way Ever wondered what an alcoholic candy cane tastes like? Peppermint Barks has got you covered with its mix of El Dorado 8-Year Rum, Rumple Minze Peppermint Schnapps, ginger syrup, lemon juice, Coco Real cream of coconut, and pomegranate juice (!!!), all topped with mint leaves and a candy cane garnish. Peppermint Barks The Peppermint Barks definitely hits on that cool, refreshing taste that peppermint gives! The Peppermint Schnapps is definitely more prominent than the other flavors, but it’s not too strong. However, that pure cream of coconut makes the drink somewhat heavier, so you might want to take it slow while you’re sipping on this one! Peppermint Barks Ginger snap cookies are low-key one of the best treats at Christmastime. And, the Gin-ger Snaps reminds us of those spicy treats with Hendrick’s Gin, Canton Ginger Liqueur, lemon juice, ginger syrup, and cinnamon syrup all shaken up together and topped with cinnamon and a candied ginger garnish. Gin-ger Snaps When you think of the spice that comes with a ginger snap, try to think of that times ten in this drink! The spicy flavors of the ginger and the sweetness of the cinnamon mix together to make one AH-MAZING drink. Plus, that candied ginger adds a final kick of spice after you’ve finished sipping (and we love it)! Gin-ger Snaps If we had to rank them, we’d say our ranking starts with the Gin-ger Snaps, Jungle All the Way, and finally the Peppermint Barks. But, don’t get us wrong!! We’d definitely think they’re all worth getting again. Check out more Disneyland Food Reviews Here!! Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Click here to Subscribe!
