Disney4me Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Disney World has just made some drastic changes to its lunch and dinner menus! Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Disney World And while the offerings at this counter-service Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restaurant haven’t changed very much, (more on this in a sec!), how you order your Fried Endorian Tip-Yip has! That’s because Disney has removed the Star Wars-themed language from Docking Bay 7’s lunch and dinner menus! Here’s a before photo of the selections that have been available since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on August 29th of this year. Docking Bay 7’s Previous Dinner Menu As you can see, each entrée has a fun Star Wars moniker, so instead of asking for the Smoked Pork Ribs, you’d tell the Cast Member, “Smoked Kaadu Ribs, please!” Former Menu Board at Docking Bay 7 Maybe that was too much fantasy for some folks (or too difficult for many people to pronounce!) because as of this morning, all of the Star Wars terminology is no longer on the menu! Is it just us, or does this make for one very standard-looking menu in a very out-of-the-ordinary dining spot? I mean, are we supposed to be in a galaxy far, far away, or aren’t we? ©Disney The change was made, per a Cast Member at Docking Bay 7, to ease confusion for many guests. While we sorta agree that Beef Pot Roast might sound more appealing to the masses, if you’re in the middle of Batuu, noshing on a Braised Shaak Roast felt much more in the spirit of it all. We’re gonna miss the Star Wars whimsy in those names! ©Disney Good news though for you folks who enjoyed Disney World’s previous version of Docking Bay 7’s menu (with all the Star Wars names!) As of right now, Docking Bay 7’s breakfast menu STILL HAS all the Star Wars terms, like the Bright Suns Breakfast Platter! Bright Suns Breakfast Platter As for those minor menu tweaks we mentioned to you earlier, the Fried Chicken at Disney World’s Docking Bay 7 now comes with your choice of Vegetable Mashed Potatoes with Herb Gravy or Mac and Cheese with Roasted Vegetables! Fried Chicken And the Shimp & Noodle Salad that used to only have veggies NOW comes with papaya and cashews! We also spotted a new vegetarian kids menu item — Impossible Marinara and Pasta! ©Disney Read our Docking Bay 7 Review here! For some reason, Disneyland’s Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo has been unaffected by these menu changes, but they DID get a few new items on the menu recently! We’ll keep you updated if we spot any differences! What do you think of Disney’s decision to remove the Star Wars language from it’s Disney World Galaxy’s Edge menu?
