Disney4me Posted Tuesday at 03:00 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 03:00 PM For years now, December has been one of Disney World’s busiest months thanks to the massive influx of guests flooding the resort for the holiday season, and this year, guests vacationing here need to prepare for some major changes at the Magic Kingdom! Holiday decor From the end of a major annual ticketed event and seasonal offerings available to all guests to a ride reopening from refurbishment, Disney World’s first park has a lot to offer in December. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party The 2026 edition of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will go on through December before culminating at the end of the month. As always, the event will offer special presentations including Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Club Tinsel, and Disney Junior Jingle Jam, access to Magic Kingdom attractions, photo opportunities with characters, exclusive treats, and tasty cookie and cocoa spots offering complimentary snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the party! Snack time Plus, several Magic Kingdom attractions will offer special holiday overlays: Space Mountain will feature “high-energy holiday tunes and festive interior lighting.” The Tomorrowland Speedway transforms into Tomorrowland Speedway Race, which is “filled with thousands of lights, stylized décor and a fun, futuristic holiday soundtrack.” The Mad Tea Party becomes a “wild and wacky Christmas party––where you can spin your teacup to one of 4 holiday combos of lights and music.” Jungle Cruise transforms into the Jingle Cruise, a version of the classic “packed with holiday-themed puns.” Of note, the Jingle Cruise can be enjoyed during the party or all day long at the Magic Kingdom. Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor puts “some ‘ha ha ha’ in their ‘ho ho ho’ with a seasonal show.” Mad Tea Party Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’s December dates are as follows: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 20th, and finally, the 22nd.
