Disney Springs has so many incredible restaurants in Disney World and beyond. Our favorite dishes are ones we can’t stop eating. We also marvel over limited-time bites that we wish were around all year long. These cookies might be making our list of “pretty please don’t take these off the menu.” Three restaurants in Disney Springs are selling cookies for kids’ cancer research. Now until October 31st, you can grab limited-time desserts, and a portion will support Cookies for Kids’ Cancer to help raise awareness and support for pediatric cancer. Maria & Enzo’s and Enzo’s Hideaway Check out the options! Maria & Enzo’s: Coppa di Maria and Gelato, featuring vanilla, chocolate and pistachio gelato, sweet Amarena cherries and a house-made ginger snap cookie Enzo’s Hideaway: Coppa di Maria and Gelato, featuring vanilla, chocolate and pistachio gelato, sweet Amarena cherries and a house-made ginger snap cookie The Edison: Dulce de leche cheesecake and house-made gelato topped with a ginger snap cookie Maria & Enzo’s These restaurants are owned by Patina Restaurant Group, and their Executive Pastry Chef, Michael Gabriel, said, “We are incredibly proud to partner with an organization that supports so many children battling pediatric cancer. Across our three restaurant concepts, our house-made ginger snap cookie will allow our guests a delicious way to help make a meaningful impact.” The Edison in Disney Springs Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a national nonprofit dedicated to funding research for new, improved, and less toxic treatments for childhood cancer. It was founded in 2008 by parents inspired by their young son’s cancer diagnosis, and they began with one goal: to give children facing cancer better treatment options and better outcomes. They’ve funded over 155 research grants and supported the development of more than 60 new treatments for children fighting cancer. What a fun addition to Disney Springs and a great way to give back while still enjoying your sweet treat.
