Disney4me Posted September 10 Report Posted September 10 If you’re a big coaster fan, you’re not alone here — our team has some serious thrill junkies! ©Courtesy of American Coaster Enthusiasts One of the best places to go for big thrills are the Six Flags parks across the U.S. These amusement parks often have record-breaking rides with major drops, cool inversions, and high speeds. And if you’re a frequent Six Flags visitor, you may want to be on the lookout for a kind-of-new coaster! Six Flags Entertainment Corp. announced in a press release on Tuesday, September 8th that it has acquired the popular ArieForce One coaster from Fun Spot America’s Atlanta location. Six Flags describes the ride as “the celebrated steel roller coaster that captured the imagination of thrill-seekers around the world and quickly earned recognition as one of the most acclaimed coaster experiences of the modern era.” ©Courtesy of American Coaster Enthusiasts This attraction will be coming to one of Six Flags’ parks in the 2028-2029 season, though it has not yet been revealed which park it will be. ArieForce One was named for Fun Spot founder John Arie Sr. and was a hit among coaster enthusiasts for the three years it resided in Atlanta. Thrill junkies traveled across the country to ride it and experience its “signature blend of speed, airtime, inversions and nonstop intensity.” The ride closed at Fun Spot America Atlanta back in August. ©Courtesy of American Coaster Enthusiasts “From the moment ArieForce One closed, we knew how much this coaster meant to the enthusiast community and to guests who traveled from around the world to experience it,” said Mark Pauls, chief operating officer of Six Flags. “This is a ride that consistently generated excitement, acclaim and passionate fan support.
