This Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Weeks Drink is only available for Disney Vacation Club Members on Friday, August 14th and Friday, August 21st. You can order it as either an alcoholic cocktail or a non-alcoholic mocktail at Frontera Cocina in Disney Springs. ©Disney Plus, when you purchase the Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Weeks Drink, you’ll receive a complimentary Half & Half appetizer! You can only get one free appetizer per DVC Member a week, but if you’re already getting the drink, you’re saving $17. What a steal! Doesn’t this look delicious? The Half & Half appetizer is half guacamole verde, half toasted pumpkin seed “hummus”, jícama, and cucumber, served with tortilla chips. We’ve tried this before, and the pumpkin hummus was extremely creamy with lots of flavor and spice. While we thought the guacamole was good, it wasn’t super special. The Half and Half The pumpkin seeds, jalapenos, and onion on top add the perfect amount of flavor. The red salsa on the side had a great smokey flavor with a bit of spice while the green salsa was a bit spicer than the other options. Overall, we really loved the pumpkin hummus the most and if you like creamy, pumpkin flavors, you’ll love this! If you aren’t a huge fan of spice, steer clear.
