Disney4me Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Disney World’s dining scene is about to get a serious upgrade. Six Ravens Between new theme park lands, resort expansions, and Disney Springs additions, the next year or two is shaping up to be one of the most exciting stretches for Disney World food fans in a LONG time! Here’s a look at SIX confirmed new restaurants and dining spots heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Harryhausen’s at Hollywood Studios Disney confirmed that the legendary sushi restaurant straight out of the 2001 Pixar film Monsters, Inc. is officially coming to the new Monstropolis land at Hollywood Studios. It’ll take over the former Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano space, and based on the concept art, it’s going to be a fully realized version of the monster world’s most iconic dining spot. The famous six-armed octopus chef will also be featured! ©Disney Here’s the really exciting part: we already have a preview of what this could look like. Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Adventure, is home to Mike and Sulley’s Flavors of Asia, which draws heavy inspiration from the film’s restaurant in both menu and design. The food is upscale Japanese dining, and the atmosphere is exactly as immersive as you’d hope. If Harryhausen’s at Hollywood Studios follows that lead, it could genuinely become one of the park’s best table-service spots. Disney has confirmed more details are coming at D23 this August. Disney World’s New Monstropolis Coaster Has Taken A BIG Step Forward! Hurly-Burly at Disney’s BoardWalk Over a year after JellyRolls closed, the BoardWalk is finally getting some new life. Hurly-Burly is described as a venue that will “welcome guests for fun-filled afternoons and glamorous evenings inside a historic seaside theatre with a vibrant BoardWalk story that spans over a century.” During the day, it’ll be a family-friendly spot with activities and trivia. At night, it flips to a 21-plus live music venue with coastal cocktails and light bites. Think of it as a more versatile replacement that can serve a wider range of guests throughout the day. It’s set to open in late 2026. ©Disney 6 MASSIVE Announcements From Disney World This Month An Unnamed Quick-Service at Disney’s BoardWalk Disney also confirmed that a brand-new quick-service restaurant is on the way to the BoardWalk, though details are being kept close to the chest for now. The official word is that more info is coming later this summer, and honestly, we think this is just what the BoardWalk needed — a solid counter-service option. While we don’t know the exact details, we can guess that it will be placed in the former Big River Grille & Brewing Works Restaurant. This is a big deal for resort guests who don’t always want a sit-down meal, and we’re very curious to see what Disney has in store. Big River Grille Construction NEW Store Announced for Disney World’s BoardWalk The Hacienda at Pueblo Esperanza (Animal Kingdom) When Tropical Americas opens in 2027, it’s bringing a dining option that’s going to turn some heads. Disney has confirmed that the new land, officially named Pueblo Esperanza, will include a hacienda-style building that will serve as one of the largest quick-service restaurants at all of Disney World. It’s replacing the footprint of the old Restaurantosaurus, and between the location and the size, it sounds like it’s built to handle serious crowd capacity while staying fully immersed in the new land’s Central and South American aesthetic. The Hacienda REVIEW: Why We Keep Coming Back to This Underrated Animal Kingdom Restaurant Six Ravens at Disney Springs The team behind Gideon’s Bakehouse is opening a second concept, and it’s coming to The Landing at Disney Springs. Six Ravens will serve hand pies called Coffyns, which founder Steve Lewis describes as old-school hand pies made with fluffy yeast bread pastry, filled with flavors crafted by Gideon’s kitchen alongside some of Orlando’s best local chefs. The menu will also include savory potatoes, local draft beer, and desserts. Construction progress is already visible, with an opening expected sometime in 2026. If it’s anything like Gideon’s, expect a line out the door. Six Ravens This NEW Disney Springs Restaurant Just Took a BIG Step Toward Opening An Unnamed Restaurant at Disney Lakeshore Lodge Disney’s newest resort, Lakeshore Lodge, is set to open on Bay Lake near Magic Kingdom in summer 2027, and concept art strongly suggests a waterfront restaurant will be part of the package. Originally it was announced that a Princess and the Frog-themed restaurant would be apart of this resort, but we haven’t heard anything since before the pandemic. The building appears to be positioned right at the edge of the shoreline, which could mean stunning views of the lake and potentially even the Magic Kingdom fireworks. It’s giving similar energy to Wailulu Bar and Grill at the Polynesian’s Island Tower, and we’re already excited about it. ©Disney Disney World’s restaurant lineup is genuinely evolving, and 2026 and 2027 are stacking up to be banner years for food lovers.
