We might have lost Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios to make way for a new Monsters, Inc. land, but at least the Muppets are getting their own space over on Sunset Boulevard as they prepare to take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.

But it’s not just a ride that’s getting a Muppet makeover. The former KRNR snack spot near Rock ‘n ‘Roller Coaster is also getting a makeover…and it’s going to be themed to the Swedish Chef! Well, now, we have a huge SIGN that this is really happening!

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

Disney recently announced that FØØD by Swedish Chef would soon be coming to Sunset Boulevard, and even teased what looks like some kind of churro at the snack spot. Well, we recently got an actual look at this new snack spot, and the sign for it is actually up now! So it’s a LITERAL sign that it’s really happening!

There it is!

Disney hasn’t revealed the menu for FØØD yet, but we hope it will be a bit tongue-in-cheek and feature some snacks with some famous Swedish Chef quotes like “Bork Bork Bork” Meatballs or the “Hurdy Gurdy” Churro. We do hope that the menu will feature some unique — perhaps even Swedish — snacks like Västerbottenostpaj (cheese pie) or Swedish Meatballs, but that might be just our own personal wishful thinking.

Like we said, Disney already teased a churro, which is decidedly NOT Swedish, so who knows what the menu will be?

We’ll be keeping an eye out for that full menu, though, and more details about the new snack spot set to open with the new ride on May 26th, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
