Disney4me Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 Refreshment Port at EPCOT, near the Canada Pavilion, has been closed for refurbishment for a while now — but we didn’t know why. ©Disney Well, we officially do know why now, as it was just revealed that Refreshment Port will reopen as La Poutinerie! La Poutinerie is replacing Refreshment Port, which was already known for its poutine dishes. The new spot will be sponsored by Air Canada, and promises to bring “a Canadian classic with a twist.” Refreshment Port poutine While Disney has not revealed any additional information about La Poutinerie, such as an opening date or menu, we are looking forward to this new spot and hope that it will reopen soon. Given this latest announcement, we’re anticipating an opening date and menu will come any day now. Refreshment Port has been closed since January A Notice of Commencement permit was recently filed for Refreshment Port to install set elements, signaling that something more than a typical maintenance refurbishment was underway. We can’t wait for this quick-service restaurant to reopen so we can get our poutine fix once again at EPCOT! Braised Beef Poutine We’ll be on the lookout for even more information about the new La Poutinerie and more from Disney World.
