Disney4me Posted April 8 Report Posted April 8 Norway doesn’t get nearly enough credit as a snack destination in EPCOT. Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in the Norway Pavilion Sure, everyone knows about the School Bread and the Lefse, but tucked inside Kringla Bakeri og Cafe is a chocolate chip cookie that honestly might be one of the sleeper hits of the entire World Showcase. We grabbed the Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie for $6.49, and we have some thoughts. What You’re Getting The Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie is exactly what it sounds like, but better than you’re picturing. At $6.49, you’re getting a generously sized, loaded cookie that’s packed with what appears to be a combination of milk chocolate, semi-sweet, and white chocolate chips. Triple chocolate chip cookie from Kringla Bakeri og Cafe The mix isn’t random either. Each type of chocolate brings something different to the table, and together they create a layered chocolate flavor that doesn’t feel one-note or overwhelming. And then there’s the salt. Little flecks of salt on top that completely elevate the whole thing. It sounds simple, but that salty-sweet contrast is doing serious heavy lifting here. How Was It, Really? Really, really good. Like, embarrassingly good for a walk-up bakery cookie in a theme park. Pastry case at Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in the Norway Pavilion The cookie was fresh, gooey, and melty, which we’ll partially credit to the Florida sun doing its thing, but the texture held up in a way that felt intentional. The chocolate flavor was rich without being cloying, and the three-chocolate combination worked together rather than competing. It wasn’t trying too hard, which honestly made it even better. Pastry Case at Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in the Norway Pavilion If you’re someone who has maybe skipped the cookie case at Kringla because you were eyeing the pastries, we’re here to tell you to reconsider. This is a cookie worth making a detour for. One Very Important Practical Note This cookie is messy. Like, commit-to-the-bit messy. You’re going to want a significant stack of napkins before you start eating, or you’ll want to station yourself somewhere near the Norway pavilion restrooms, because cleaning up after this one is part of the experience. Napkins and Utensils at Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in the Norway Pavilion Plan accordingly, and you’ll have no regrets. The Verdict For $6.49, the Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie at Kringla Bakeri og Cafe is one of the better cookie values you’ll find anywhere on Disney property. It’s fresh, it’s indulgent, the chocolate balance is genuinely impressive, and that salt on top makes it feel like someone actually thought about what they were doing when they made it. This isn’t a novelty item or a seasonal limited-time thing; it’s a regular menu item that’s been quietly sitting there waiting for you to notice it. Triple chocolate chip cookie from Kringla Bakeri og Cafe Norway is already worth a stop for the savory options and the School Bread, but now you have one more reason to swing through. Just grab the napkins first. More Recent Reviews!
