Disney4me Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 Early Entry is one of Disney’s most POPULAR perks, and it’s about to expand! Early entry sign! A quick refresh on Early Entry before we begin: Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels (and select other hotels) can take advantage of a 30-minute early entry into each of Walt Disney World’s theme parks every day of their stay (including check-in and check-out days). Now that’s out of the way, let’s move on to what’s changing! Over the next few months, Disney is going to open — or reopen — several rides, and a couple of in-demand attractions have already been confirmed to join the Early Entry lineup. First up is Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at the Magic Kingdom. The blaster-based attraction has been closed since last summer for a refurbishment that added new ride vehicles, new blasters, a new opening scene, a new animatronic in said opening scene (BUDDY!), and refreshed show scenes and targets. After a recent string of soft openings and previews, the ride will be open in full on April 8th (although it has soft opened, so you may get lucky) and join the Magic Kingdom’s Early Entry lineup. It’s Buddy! Next, let’s move over to Hollywood Studios, where the Rock ’n’ R0ller Coaster is currently closed as Disney removes its original Aerosmith theme to replace it with the Muppets in a new experience that Disney says will be “fueled by the tasty tunes of the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets.” In March 2026, Disney confirmed that the new attraction will be eligible for Early Entry when it opens this summer. The NEW car! Space Ranger Spin and the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster will join the following attractions in the Early Entry attraction pool: Magic Kingdom Park “it’s a small world” “it’s a small world” Astro Orbiter Dumbo the Flying Elephant Mad Tea Party Mickey’s PhilharMagic Peter Pan’s Flight Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Space Mountain The Barnstormer The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Tomorrowland Speedway Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress EPCOT Frozen Ever After at EPCOT Frozen Ever After Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Mission: SPACE Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Soarin’ Around the World Spaceship Earth Test Track The Seas with Nemo & Friends Disney’s Hollywood Studios Tower of Terror Alien Swirling Saucers Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Slinky Dog Dash Star Tours – The Adventures Continue Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Toy Story Mania! Animal Kingdom Expedition Everest Avatar Flight of Passage Expedition Everest Na’vi River Journey Zootopia: Better Zoogether! New rides aren’t the only changes coming to Early Entry, however. During the Cool Kids Summer promotion, which runs from May 26th to September 8th, hotel guests eligible for Early Entry will be able to meet a rotating cast of Disney characters at each park before the park opens to the general public. Meaning that, at least some guests who usually rush to rides will instead try to knock out character meet & greets in the early morning. Hey Mickey! Early Entry, one of Disney’s most popular hotel perks, is seeing some changes over the next few months.
