Disney4me Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 The Goshiki Food Studio is always a popular stop at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, as home to the famous Sushi Doughnut! But there’s so much more in store… 2026 Goshiki Food Studio Goshiki — located in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion — is one of the 18 Food Studios (also known as Food Booths) at the Festival. And this year it’s delivering an entirely new menu (aside from the beloved Sushi Doughnut, of course!). We hope you’ll join us here for some sushi, some sake, and some MORE as we bring you our full reviews of every single Food Studio at the Festival of the Arts! Menu Goshiki — which means “five colors” in Japanese — is delivering THREE brand new food dishes to the Festival of the Arts this year! Joining the Sushi Doughnut on the menu are Taiyaki (a fish-shaped chocolate-flavored pastry), a Tokyo Kawaii Roll, and a new version of the Wagyu Bun. Goshiki menu You’ve got LOTS of choices for drinks at Goshiki, and four out of five are NEW! The Grapey Apple Boba is non-alcoholic, while the Yuzu-Pineapple Punch is a new cocktail. The Sake Flight is made up of new flavors this year, or you can order the returning Masu Sake served in a traditional personalized wooden cup. Beer drinkers may be intrigued by the new Crooked Can Brewing Company Wasabi IPA. Let’s GO!! (See what I did there? ) Eats What, exactly, is Taiyaki? It’s a crisp and flaky fish-shaped chocolate-flavored pastry filled with custard and served with whipped topping. It’s $7.75. Taiyaki This was SO GOOD. The chocolate pastry was flaky and not overwhelmingly chocolatey. It wasn’t sugary, just truly a nice chocolate. The custard was really nice and creamy, almost silky. It was just the right amount of custard in the pastry, too. There was a bit of whipped topping on the side that was more like a Cool Whip texture instead of real whipped cream. The whipped cream also helped make any dry parts of the pastry better, not that there was much of that. It was all just amazing, and definitely a Best of the Fest item for sure. Taiyaki It’s just not the Festival of the Arts without the Sushi Doughnut! This dish is a doughnut-shaped serving of sushi with salmon, tuna, shrimp, cucumber, and sesame seeds. It’s plated with wasabi aïoli, sriracha aïoli, and eel sauce. It costs $8.75. The famous sushi doughnut This thing is a classic. It’s a tried and true festival favorite. The rice is well prepared, but there’s a lot of it compared to fish. The fish was pretty fresh. The standout parts of this dish are the wasabi and sriracha aïolis with the eel sauce. These add some really impressive flavors that make the doughnut well-balanced, instead of just fish and rice. Sushi Doughnut The new Tokyo Kawaii Roll adds color to the sushi rice surrounding crispy shrimp tempura! It’s topped with a yellow yuzu sauce and plum sauce for $9.75. Tokyo Kawaii Roll This roll was pretty good, but not great. The sauces were definitely needed to add a little bit of flavor. The yuzu sauce was nice, sweet, and tangy, which brightens up the otherwise plain sushi. The plum sauce was very interesting with a totally different vibe, giving it a very interesting dichotomy of flavors. These were just ok, but great. Though Goshiki has served the Wagyu Bun at previous Festivals (it was even one of our Best of the Fest picks last year), it’s given a new twist this year with a purple bun! It’s filled with sweet-and-savory minced American wagyu beef for $10.75. Wagyu Bun We really like the flavors of the meat, which are so good. It’s very savory with a hint of sweetness from the bun. The bun isn’t dense or so soft that the meat is falling out. This is a returning favorite, and we’re still BIG fans. Drinks The featured non-alcoholic beverage at Goshiki is Grapey Apple Boba for $6.75. Grapey Apple Boba It’s described as a “Crafted black grape beverage” with green apple popping boba. This was really just grapefruit juice with apple boba at the bottom. It was sweet and a little bit sour. The apple boba added an interesting flavor combination when they popped. It was fine, but nothing super special. This was a grapefruit drink Who else is excited to try the new version of the Sake Flight?! For $19.75, you receive pours of peach, mango, and strawberry-flavored Nigori sake. Sake Flight We really like the sake flight! Each sample had very distinct notes of the flavors in it. They were super sweet and almost creamy. They had the texture of a thin smoothie, which was really nice. We really liked these! If you prefer to go a more traditional route, the Masu Sake is available once again this year for $14.00. Masu Sake in a Personalized Wooden Cup As always, it’s presented to you in a traditional personalized wooden cup! If you’re planning to try different cocktails at the Festival, Goshiki is serving the new Yuzu-Pineapple Punch for $8.75. Yuzu Pineapple Punch Shochu provides the spirit base, and it’s made with yuzu and pineapple flavors. The main flavor was definitely the yuzu, with the pineapple coming in as more of an aftertaste. It was very refreshing, easily sippable, and tasted like juice or a mimosa without the bubbles. This is a drink we think a lot of people will enjoy. This was yummy! Crooked Can Brewing Company (which you can tour in Winter Garden, FL) delivers the new-to-the-Festival Wasabi IPA! Crooked Can Brewing Company Wasabi IPA You can try a 6 ounce pour for $5.75 or a 12 ounce pour for $9.75. But honestly, we wouldn’t get it again. We didn’t really taste wasabi. It was just a light beer with a really weird twang to it. But if you like beer and you like wasabi, it might be worth trying. This was not our favorite OVERALL We found at least two of our favorite items from the festival at Goshiki! The Wagyu bun and the Taiyaki are high up on our list of Best of the Fest foods. The rest of the offerings here are worth trying, too. We didn’t have a bad item here, so you should definitely stop by this booth! Full Spread at Goshiki Thanks so much for joining us at Goshiki!
