Disney4me Posted November 23, 2025 Report Posted November 23, 2025 We were so excited when Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs (a Disneyland STAPLE) finally made its way across the country to Disney World in Florida. Now, we know that Blue Ribbon is notorious for creating corn dogs that are controversial (Pickle Dog…need we say more?). Meet the Salmon Dog Well, we think Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Disney’s BoardWalk might have just out-controversial’d itself because its new Corn Dog is probably going to divide a lot of Disney fans. We’re STILL confused about it. We give you…(drum roll, please)…the Salmon Dog. This is salmon and cream cheese fried in tempura batter, drizzled with Siracha mayo, topped with sesame seeds, and unagi sauce, served with a bag of chips on the side for $18. Y’all…we’re still confused by this thing. But it did surprise us because it was actually…well…tasty? The salmon is cooked and deep-fried with a chunk of cream cheese, and that’s always a good combo. We will say the salmon wasn’t really seasoned, but that’s what the sauce is for. There it is! So you’ve got the salmon and the ooey gooey cream cheese inside a light and crispy batter shell. All things considering, this thing also held up better than we expected. The unagi sauce is like a thick, sweet soy sauce. The sriracha mayo adds some creaminess and that bit of spice from sriracha, but it isn’t really spicy at all. The sesame seeds add a nice extra texture and sesame flavor. It’s good? Despite our confusion, we ate the whole thing, but we were very hungry. But honestly, it was fairly tasty, although it’s still a little weird it being battered and fried like a corn dog. However, don’t expect a classic corn dog flavor…this certainly tastes like salmon, so you’ll have to like salmon to appreciate it. Stay tuned to DFB for more.
