Disney4me Posted October 13, 2025 Report Posted October 13, 2025 There is nothing quite like a unique Disney World snack! Disney Springs From Magic Kingdom to Disney Springs, there are so many different savory and sweet desserts to try. Snacks and treats also rotate throughout the year, and we are both scared and excited to see the creepiest dessert is back in Disney World! Salt and Straw in Disney Springs always ensures that you’ll find something interesting in Orlando! Salt & Straw This ice cream shop in Disney Springs offers the most unique frozen flavors, toppings, and more. They have flavors like Honey Lavender and Chocolate Gooey Brownie, along with unique flavors specific to Florida, including The Salty Donut Guava & Cheese and Panther Coffee Chocolate Tres Leches. Now, they’ve finally dropped their Halloween Series! ©Salt and Straw There are 6 flavors in the series, including the Great Candycopia! On their website, they shared that this ice cream is to “capture the feeling of dumping out a pillowcase full of trick-or-treat goodies.” They use homemade Reese’s, Snickers, Kit Kats, Heath Bars, and almond brittle in every tub of their salted, butterscotch ice cream. ©Salt and Straw Next, we have the Jack o’ Lantern Pumpkin Bread! It’s made with pumpkin spice ice cream, pumpkin bread, and a thick layer of cream cheese frosting in one of three colors: yellow, orange, or white. It’s meant to mirror candy corn! ©Salt and Straw You can also try the Double Bubble Toil and Trouble! This one is returning after a “brief hiatus” and is a take on dairy-free bubblegum ice cream. It uses pineapple, banana, and pear blended into creamy coconut milk with cinnamon and vanilla. Plus, the bright blue hue comes from spirulina, a natural algae. ©Salt and Straw The Essence of Ghost has white sherbet infused with scotch and Mexican vanilla. It also features “wisps” of black licorice chocolate ice cream. ©Salt and Straw Finally, the most exciting (and maybe creepy) flavor is BACK! The Creepy Crawly Critters has returned with a simple matcha ice cream, a splash of fresh orange juice, and Don Bugito’s edible insects (coconut toffee candied mealworms and chocolate-covered crickets). YES! REAL BUGS! ©Salt and Straw This flavor is returning, and yes, we have tried it! It was GOOD. The matcha ice cream tasted like a creamy matcha latte with a nice vanilla sweetness to it. The bugs were also good! They sorta’ reminded us of a savory KitKat, and as long as you don’t look at the ice cream while you’re eating it, you might actually like it. The flavors are well-balanced, and they just work together well, bugs and all. Don Bugitos Creepy Crawly Critters Ice Cream These flavors are around all October long, so be sure to test them out when you can!
