REVIEW: You’ve Been Warned! After You Try This Starbucks Menu Item, You Won’t Want Any Other Drink…Ever.

Fall has arrived, Starbucks fans! The good news is that some of the BEST Starbucks drinks EVER are back on the menu. The bad news is that there’s only a limited time to sip on these iconic beverages.

Can you smell the flavors of fall already? Yes, the wafts of pumpkin spice are filling the air, and those sweet scents of autumn have traveled all the way to Disney World. If you want to enjoy a familiar treat while you’re visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth this fall, we know JUST where you should go for a classic returning menu item.

The changing of the seasons has brought with it a whole host of new flavors to enjoy! If you’ve been waiting for your first chance to grab a warm (or cold) Starbucks fall drink and stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., your time has come.

Starbucks just released its lineup of returning fall favorites, and, of course, we needed to conduct some Official Drink Research. Are these fall drinks as good as we remember? Let’s find out!

Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom

We stopped by the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom to snag an old favorite drink. Meet the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, which is offered for a limited time during the season. This beauty will run you $6.75 (in Disney World, anyway; the price may vary depending on your location) when served in a grande size. It’s an iced chai latte with pumpkin spice topping and pumpkin cream cold foam. If you’re not a pumpkin spice person, just move on along. From here on out, we’ll be fangirling over pumpkin spice drinks. Let us have our moment, OK?

Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai

Unsurprisingly, our reporter LOVED this drink. As a returning star menu item, we already knew what to expect, so we’re happy to report that it once again delivered on all counts! It tastes like fall in a cup. It’s pure joy. It’s smooth, creamy, and purely indulgent. This is a TREAT — not exactly the type of drink you could guzzle down three times a day like a regular cup of coffee.

As you sip, you’ll get the underlying chai flavor that’s warm and spiced, but the addition of pumpkin reminds us of pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving. It’s sweet, but not overwhelmingly sugary. The cold foam on top really enhances everything, smoothing it out and making the flavors less intense and overwhelming.

And of course, we love that it’s an iced drink — trying to sip on a piping hot beverage in the middle of the Orlando heat at Disney World doesn’t exactly scream “ideal.”
