It’s certainly no secret that Disney World is HOT during the summer.

We’re always looking for ways to cool down, whether it’s with the latest park bag essentials, some ice-cold air-conditioning (looking at you, Carousel of Progress!), or a refreshing snack. Luckily for us (and you!), an iconic frozen treat has returned to the Japan Pavilion at EPCOT, and we’re bringing you our FULL review!

The Violet Sake Slush is BACK at Kabuki Cafe! It costs $15. It’s essentially the same as its namesake, only made with shaved ice!

Violet Sake Slush

If you are a fan of the original Violet Sake from Garden House in the Japan Pavilion, you are absolutely gonna go bonkers over this slush. It’s essentially the kakigori shaved ice that you can also get at Kabuki Cafe, but with the flavor of the Violet Sake — which is primarily desert pear. In fact, when it melts, it really just becomes a slightly melted-down regular Violet Sake. It’s just a really fun take on the iconic Japan Pavilion drink, and especially refreshing in this heat!

SO good!

If you’re looking for the classic Violet Sake cocktail right now, you’ll have to know where to go! The outside location of Garden House is not open right now, and the bar has temporarily moved inside Mitsukoshi, where you’ll find the food and snack items in that store.

Don’t worry, though. You’ll still be able to order your favorite cocktails, including a special cocktail flight and the Kyoho Calpico Cocktail.

In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more snacks to review around EPCOT and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more.
