Universal Orlando has starting selling Frequent Fear Passes and other multinight tickets for Halloween Horror Nights and has revealed the theming for its eighth haunted house of the 2025 season.

The event’s Fear passes — aka Rush of Fear, Frequent Fear Frequent Fear Plus and Ultimate Frequent Fear — are tiered, allowing different levels of access on multiple nights of the event, which runs for 48 nights between Aug. 29 and Nov. 2 at Universal Studios theme park. Prices of the passes start at $199.

Note: By midday Thursday, the allottments of Frequent Fear Plus Pass with express pass and Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass with express were sold out, according to Universal’s website.

The park also identified another haunted house for the fright fest. It will be based on the “Terrifier” series of slasher films, directed and written by Damien Leone. The HHN maze will focust on the series’ Art the Clown, who tortures residents of (fictional) Miles County, New York, in gruesome ways. It will include Art’s Funhouse from “Terrifier 2,” the Clown Cafe and “grotesque kills, gellfully displayed for all to see,” according to a Universal news release.

“Terrifier 3” was released last year, and “Terrifier 4” is slated for 2026. David Howard Thornton has played Art the Clown.

The “Terrifier” house, which will also be part of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood in California, is one of 10 planned for the Orlando event. Previously identified mazes include Galkn: Monsters of the North (“wolfish fiends,” fjords); Grave of the Flesh (flesh-eaters); Dolls: Let’s Play Dead (created by a twisted girl); Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters (spawn of past mazed named Sinister Sinema 2); El Artista: A Spanish Haunting (possessed paintings); Fallout (inspired by a videogame and Prime streaming series); and Jason Universe, tied to “Friday the 13th” characters.

Universal officials also have said “Five Nights at Freddy’s” will be part of 2025 Horror Nights, but a house has not yet been announced for that film.
