Disney4me Posted July 7, 2025 Report Posted July 7, 2025 Well, it’s a small world after all! “it’s a small world” A new change is coming to “it’s a small world,” and now the attraction will feel even more special with every ride! It was announced that Disneyland is changing the last verse in the finale scene of “it’s a small world,” but we just found out that the change is coming to Disney World, as well! This change will start on July 17th in both parks. “it’s a small world” in Disneyland Before Richard Sherman, one of the two Sherman brothers who wrote most of Disneyland’s original music, passed earlier this year, he wrote a new verse “as his final gift to Disney.” We love this ride! The new lyrics will be: Mother Earth unites us in heart and mind / And the love we give makes us humankind / Through our vast, wondrous land / When we stand hand in hand / it’s a small world after all Inside A special edition vinyl will be available online at the Disney Music Emporium. You can preorder the record now for its release on July 18th. A digital version of the song will also be available on all music streaming platforms. ©Disney The change coming during the 70th anniversary of Disneyland makes it feel even more special, and it feels like a full-circle moment to the park’s beginning. Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration We are so glad that this new verse is coming to both Disneyland and Disney World, and we can’t wait to board the Happiest Cruise to Ever Sail to listen to it together.
