The Fourth of July is quickly approaching, and Disney World has already started offering exclusive treats! Of course, we had to grab some of them to try them out.

We grabbed two special treats for July 4th, and we are letting you know if you should add them to your Independence Day plans. Now is the perfect time to finalize your snacking plans for the Fourth of July!

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

Our first stop is Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Magic Kingdom. Here we are grabbing the Red, White, and Blue Waffle for $8.99. The waffle is topped with mixed berries, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and festive sprinkles. You can also get this treat in funnel cake form as well!

Red, White, and Blue Waffle

This waffle is exactly the same waffle you can get on the normal menu, but with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some fun sprinkles. We are still so excited that our round waffles are back at Sleepy Hollow — they previously changed them out to Mickey waffles, but they just weren’t as good. The waffle was crispy and not overly sweet. The mixed berries add a lot of sweetness and freshness to the waffle, as well as a bit of a crunch.

Now, for the additions. The vanilla ice cream is creamy and cold (and melts VERY fast in the Florida heat!). It has that crispy vanilla flavor and we felt like there was a good ratio of ice cream to waffle. The sprinkles didn’t add a lot of flavor, but they do add a slight crunch. They are such a fun and festive addition to the waffle, though!

Next up, we are heading over to Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs for our next July 4th treat. We are grabbing the Patriotic Cake Bar for $8. It is vanilla chiffon combined with passion fruit, orange, and guava juice — also known as POG! However, we did not taste ANY POG in our treat.

The cake bar we got was a vanilla cake bar covered in white chocolate icing. No passion fruit, orange, OR guava juice could be tasted in ours. However, we still really enjoyed this treat! It is definitely on the sweet side, and we thought it looked great. It is a fun treat for Independence Day, and it has lots of classic vanilla flavor. Although, beware of the blue coloring, we became a blue mouth monster for a bit!

These special treats are available now through July 5th to celebrate Independence Day! So, if one of these treats caught your eye, make sure you plan your trip to Disney World soon. You can also get a Berry Shortcake from Columbia Harbour House or a Red, White, and Blue Slushy from Liberty Square Market.

Don’t forget! You can also catch special fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. “Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will be playing on July 3rd and July 4th in Magic Kingdom. Over in EPCOT, you can see “Heartbeat of Freedom” after the “Luminous the Symphony of Us” nighttime show.
