Disney4me Posted June 21, 2025 Report Posted June 21, 2025 Disney World has so many food options that it’s hard to know where to begin when planning your trip. Lucky for you, we’re here to help you out! We know the best (and maybe not so great) restaurants and meals that you’re going to want to try. Welcome to Disney World We went to STK Steakhouse at Disney Springs to try their “Steak Night America” prix fixe menu (available Sunday through Thursday for $69 per person), and honestly? It might be one of the best hidden deals in Disney Springs. You just have to know to ask for it, because there is zero signage and no mention of it on the regular menu. Is this secret steal worth the trek? Let’s find out. Atmosphere Before we get started, you may be asking how you pronounce STK! It is not pronounced steak (although this is a steakhouse with plenty of steak options on the menu), but you instead pronounce all the letters individually. STK Steakhouse STK is no average steakhouse! This two-story restaurant has a rooftop terrace and sleek ambient lighting, and they want you to feel like you can kick back and relax. “Escape the ordinary when you dine at this ultra-modern steakhouse offering incredible cuisine and an upbeat vibe.” Sign us up! Enough about the space, what’s on this prix fixe menu? Menu STK’s standard menu is… pricey. Like, every-entrée-is-$50 pricey. Apps and sides are extra. Sauces? Also extra. And while the food was good, nothing really screamed “worth $300 for two.” But the prix fixe deal? Well, that’s the game-changer. ©STK The “Steak Night America” menu includes: One appetizer per person One entrée per person One shared dessert A bottle of Prosecco or red wine for the table For the specific eats, we chose the Lil’ Brgs, Jalapeño Pickled Shrimp Cocktail, 6oz filet, Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, Asparagus, Mac & Cheese, and Bag O’ Donuts. Mac & Cheese All for $69 per person, which is a massive value compared to ordering à la carte. But you have to ask for it. It’s not listed, mentioned, or advertised anywhere in the restaurant. We had to ask our server directly, and they brought out a separate sheet with the prix fixe options. So yeah, it’s kind of a secret menu — and we’re very happy to blow the lid off it for you. Yum! We’re getting hungry. Let’s eat! Eats For our first appetizer, we had the Lil’ Brgs. Two small but mighty sliders made with wagyu-style beef, topped with a creamy sauce and served on buttery brioche buns with black sesame seeds. Lil’ Brgs These had great flavor and a luxe touch — but at $10 each on the regular menu? No thanks. As part of the prix fixe? Yes, please. For our next appetizer, we had the Jalapeño Pickled Shrimp Cocktail. It comes with 4 prawns, cocktail sauce, and lemon. Jalapeño Pickled Shrimp Cocktail These are big, juicy shrimp served over ice — still cold even after all our photo-taking. The cocktail sauce packs real heat (in a good way), and the portion felt fair for a starter. Bonus: the spice was bold enough to stand out but didn’t overpower the shrimp. We had the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass for the first entree. It comes with sautéed bok choy, ginger, crispy shallots, and Thai basil. Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass This was a total surprise hit. The sea bass was firm, not flaky, and the miso glaze added a ton of umami-rich flavor. It didn’t taste overly fishy (a huge plus), and the little side of sautéed bok choy rounded out the dish nicely. If you’re not feeling steak, this is a strong alternative. For the second entree, we got the 6oz Filet for $59. Steak purists will be happy here. 6oz Filet This filet had a solid sear, was cooked exactly to temp, and was seasoned just right. But it came all by itself on the plate — literally just the steak and two stray pickled onions. It needed a sauce, and thankfully, the peppercorn sauce we added was smooth, flavorful, and held onto the steak perfectly. The steak itself? Not mind-blowing, but very solid. For our sides, we got the Asparagus and the Mac & Cheese. Each entrée comes with one side. Asparagus The asparagus was lemony and crisp, topped with breadcrumbs that gave it a nice punch. The mac & cheese was creamy and rich — not the dry baked kind, but gooey in all the right ways. Served in a cast iron skillet, it was hearty and felt generous for a “side.” Mac & Cheese For dessert, we got to enjoy the Bag O’ Donuts. These were the highlights of the night. Six warm doughnut holes rolled in cinnamon sugar, served with raspberry, chocolate, and caramel sauces. Bag O’ Donuts The raspberry was tart and delicious, the caramel was too thick to dip but still tasty, and the chocolate tasted like Hershey’s syrup (which could go either way depending on your vibe). The doughnuts were fluffy and perfectly cooked. If you’re sharing this dessert, you won’t fight over the last one — there are six! Drinks The prix fixe includes a full bottle of wine or Prosecco — not a glass, not a pour, a whole bottle. We went with the Prosecco, and it was crisp and refreshing. Not fancy, but more than fine for the price. If you’re dining à la carte, there’s a huge cocktail menu and an extensive wine list, but again, it adds up fast. Nosh or Not You need to add STK to your Disney World itinerary if… You want one of the best hidden-value meals in Disney Springs. You’re okay with loud music and a trendy vibe. You love steak and appreciate a well-cooked fish dish. You’re celebrating or just want to feel a little fancy for a night. STK might not be for you if… You’re hoping for a traditional steakhouse atmosphere. You have mobility issues — the location and layout can be tricky. You don’t like having to ask for deals (and might miss the prix fixe). You’re on a tight budget — the regular menu is expensive. Overall STK isn’t a must-do for every Disney Springs visitor. Honestly, if every entrée cost $10 less and apps and sides were $4–6 less, it’d feel fair. But as it stands, the best reason to dine here is absolutely the prix fixe. Dining room “Steak Night America” is a hidden gem. If you don’t know about it, you’ll miss it — and the restaurant’s not advertising it, so now you know because we’re telling you. Ask for it. Use it. Save your money. And get those doughnuts. Bag O’ Donuts Would we come back and order à la carte? Probably not. But would we go out of our way for this prix fixe again? Absolutely.
