“Drawn to Life,” the theatrical show from Cirque du Soleil and Disney, is offering free children’s tickets to select performances through Aug. 28.

The free admission to the Disney Springs show is part of Walt Disney World’s Cool Kid Summer promotion.

“Drawn to Life” is a child-centered show, telling the story of young Julie, who is coming to terms with the death of her father, a Disney animator. Julie dives into the world of Disney animation, where she discovers hope, joy and love endure. Her adventures, in Cirque du Soleil style, involve encounters with exciting circus performers and silly clowns.

The physical feats inspire oohs and ahs, the emotion of the story touches the heart. “Drawn to Life,” which is also a salute to the power and legacy of Disney animation, opened in November 2021. Signature acts include a team of unicyclists and an Icarian Games duo, who perform a sort of leg-based human juggling.

Adult tickets generally start at about $68. Showtimes on most Thursdays for the 90-minute show are at 5:30 and 9 p.m.
