  1. May is a HUGE month for Star Wars fans — and not just because of May 4th, when the unofficial Star Wars Day (A.K.A. “May the Fourth Be With You”) falls. New missions will be added to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu. While May the Fourth is still a big day, even more exciting Star Wars changes are coming to Disney World and beyond. On May 22nd, the new Mandalorian and Grogu movie premieres in theaters, and to celebrate, a brand-new mission is coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Hollywood Studios! In honor of the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu movie on May 22nd, 2026, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will offer NEW experiences for those who ride it, beginning on that same date. Mandalorian and Grogu The ride will get a new storyline featuring both the Mandalorian and Grogu. According to Disney, Hondo Ohnaka just found out about a deal on Tatooine between ex-Imperial officers and some pirates. There’s a bounty for their capture, so you’re going to “borrow” the Millennium Falcon and team up with Din Djarin and Grogu to track them down. But there’s more — you’ll also get to visit some NEW destinations on the ride, including Bespin… ©Disney …Tatooine… Tatooine on the new version of Smuggler’s Run ©Disney …and the ruins of the Death Star! Death Star ruins on the new version of Smuggler’s Run ©Disney You’ll even have a chance to fly through Beggar’s Canyon… ©Disney …and through the remains of a Krayt Dragon. ©Disney You’ll even be visiting a loading dock on Cloud City, where you might spot a VERY familiar ship from Star Tours also visiting. ©Disney Of course, you won’t get to visit all of these destinations during your flight, but each mission will feature its own set of locations. Oh, and did I mention that the engineer position, which in the past did not have much to do, will be able to pick the location everyone travels to?! We’re excited to see how we’ll be able to pick! Not only that, but according to Disney, the engineer will get to communicate with Grogu! We can’t wait to check these changes out. ©Disney We’ll be on the lookout for even more Hollywood Studios changes and beyond. 2. Are you planning a trip on Disney Cruise Line? If so, you’re probably wondering if there’s a way to save money on that cruise by using a travel credit card to earn points or rewards that can be used to pay for the cruise as well as pay for things ON the cruise. Disney Adventure Well, we talked to our team about some of our favorite travel credit cards and did a little math, but one specific credit card came out on top as the clear winner if you plan on booking a Disney Cruise. And we’re going to tell you all about it. Winner: Chase Disney Inspire Visa If you want to book a Disney Cruise, you may want to get the Chase Disney Inspire Visa. For starters, when you sign up for the card, you can earn extra $$$ in rewards just for getting approved for the card, as well as for spending a certain amount within the first three months of having it. Right now, that’s a $300 Disney gift card, as well as a $300 statement credit if you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first three months of having the card. So that’s already $600 you can use on your Disney Cruise. Disney Inspire Visa You’ll also earn 200 Disney Rewards Dollars after spending $2,000 per anniversary year on U.S. Disney resort and Disney Cruise Line bookings. The card also includes discounts on Disney Cruise Line for select purchases. When it comes to regular purchases, here’s what you’ll earn: Earn 10% on card purchases for Disney+, Hulu, or ESPN+ Earn 3% on at gas stations and U.S. Disney locations Earn 2% on groceries and restaurants Earn 1% on all purchases Disney Cruise Line! But what really makes this the best card for Disney Cruises is the list of perks that come with it. You can get discounts while onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship, as well as discounted merchandise on packages and experiences at Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations. Here’s what you can get on a Disney Cruise with this card: 10% off select digital photo packages 10% off select merchandise purchases 10% off Castaway Cay Getaway Packages 10% off select Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point experiences 20% off select onboard spa treatments Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point The Disney Inspire Visa does come with an annual fee of $149 per year (which is often waived for the first year), but these rewards could make it worth it. Runner Up: Capital One Venture Rewards Our team members also mentioned the Capital One Venture Rewards card as a good card for booking Disney vacations, including Disney Cruises. With this card, you automatically earn 2X points for every dollar spent, no matter what it is. Plus, you get 5X points on hotels, vacation rentals, and rental cars booked through the Capital One Travel site. ©Capital One This card also comes with no foreign transaction fees (great if you plan on spending money at Disney Cruise Line ports) and no blackout dates. You can also use your rewards to pay for ANYTHING travel-related, including flights, vacation packages, hotels, cruises, and more. Just note that the card comes with an annual fee of $95 (generally deferred the first year), but in our experience, it is more than worth it. Runner-Up: Chase Sapphire Preferred Another card the DFB team likes is the Chase Sapphire Preferred card. With this card, you can earn 3X points at restaurants, including delivery and takeout, so if you eat out or order food delivery a lot, you can rack up points fast! You also get 2X points on travel purchases, as well as 5X points on travel purchases through Chase Travel (excluding hotels that qualify for the $50 annual Chase travel hotel credit). ©Chase This card allows you to use your points on travel, cash back, and gift cards. You can also transfer points to airline and hotel partners, so if you need a flight to get to your Disney Cruise Line port or a hotel the night before a cruise, this card could help you pay for that. This card has an annual fee of $95 (which may also be waived for the first year). No matter which credit card you choose, you’ll find travel rewards helpful for booking any kind of Disney trip, including cruises. Do your research and decide which is right for you, and soon, you’ll be earning points you can convert into your next vacation. We’ll continue to give our best Disney vacation planning tips and tricks, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Stop Paying for These 3 Things in Disney World. Your Credit Card Already Does! Their audio engineers, who are penguins, and Scooter are trying to keep the Electric Mayhem in check because they have to get to their concert across town. Will they make it on time? May 26th — The Magic of Disney Animation Courtyard opens ©Disney May 26th is a BIG day for Disney World for a few reasons. The biggest reason is that the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will officially open! The courtyard will be open to explore, and the entire area is going to feature things like Disney Princess meet-and-greets, an Alice in Wonderland playground for kiddos, drawing classes with an Olaf animatronic, and more! We’re on the edge of our seats waiting for this. May 26th — Soarin’ Across America opens at EPCOT ©Disney Another brand-new experience is coming to Disney World on May 26th, and it’s a new version of Soarin’ Around the World, called Soarin’ Across America! This will be a patriotic makeover for the 250th birthday of the U.S.A. Instead of flying to places around the world, we’ll now be flying over different parts of America. Just be aware that in order to make way for the changes, Soarin’ Around the World will close on May 13th, 2026. Also, this won’t be a permanent change. May 26th — Cool KIDS’ Summer begins Cool Kid Summer Cool Kids’ Summer is coming back for the kiddos, and it officially kicks off on May 26th! The event is bringing characters and fun activities all throughout Disney World. Some of the stuff kids of all ages (and all of us who are kids at heart) will be able to enjoy include meeting Toy Story characters at Magic Kingdom, checking out GoofyCore at EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall, a dance party at Disney Springs, and much more! May 26th — Bluey’s Wild World is debuting at Animal Kingdom Bluey and Bingo at Disneyland Everyone is going to be humming the Bluey theme as they walk into Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 26th. Families can head over to Bluey’s Wild World on the Wildlife Express Train and play special games directly from Bluey episodes. 4. If you choose to stay at a Disney World hotel during your trip, you can get a lot of SWEET perks that could make your trip even that much better. For example, you can get into theme parks a half hour before everyone else (and some hotel guests can even get to stay in parks for a few hours after they close). You can even get a free water park ticket for your arrival day if you’re visiting during the summer. Kids’ Meal Now, many of these perks are returning in 2027, but one perk has changed…a LOT. In 2026, if you purchase a Disney Dining Plan, your kids can eat 100% free. Well, in 2027, that’s changing, and it’s a serious downgrade. So here’s what’s changing in 2027: instead of a FREE dining plan for kids if you purchase a dining plan for yourself and other adults in your group, you just get up to 20% off dining for kids. So this perk has gone from FREE meals for kids to just a small discount. And, yes, that is a SERIOUS downgrade. However, we’re still going to try to look at this new 20% off for kids deal objectively and give you the pros and cons. Kids’ Meal at Regal Eagle in EPCOT Also note, that in both 2025 and 2026, you had to be staying at a Disney World hotel to get this deal, so that’s going to be something you’ll need to know if you’re interested! Pros Okay, so the biggest thing you’re going to get out of this if you purchase a Disney Dining Plan is that your kids will still get SOME kind of discount on food, even if it is no longer free. This could add up quite a bit, especially if you’re planning on eating at table service restaurants. The savings will add up, no matter what. Kids’ Meal from Friar The 20% off perk, though, is also a really good deal if you have multiple children. If you’ve got multiple little mouths to feed, you’ll end up saving at least something on their food. You’ll get a good value out of it if you’re bringing more than one kid to Disney World. Docking Bay 7 Kids’ Meal Another pro of getting this deal is that you can combine it with other deals. So if you also want to use a deal for tickets, hotel rooms, or a vacation package, you can get that deal, too. It’s valid as long as you also purchase a Disney Dining plan for adults. You can combine it with other deals, including hotel discounts Finally, the biggest draw for many who choose to purchase the Disney Dining Plan is that it helps with budgeting for meals. If you pre-pay for your meals, you won’t end up with sticker shock and go over your budget at restaurants. You’ll still be able to do that, but you’ll just have to account for the price of kids’ meals in your math. Cons Clearly, the biggest downside and con of the new 20% off offer is that Disney is that it’s no longer free. It seems unfair that something that was once FREE is now just a small discount. Free will always be the better deal, so this is the biggest reason the new offer is a downgrade. Kids’ Mickey Waffles Another downside is that you can’t get the deal UNLESS you purchase the Disney Dining Plan. So if you want to get 20% off kids’ meals, you have to lock yourself into the dining plan. That means you’ll also have to research how best to use the Disney Dining Plan in Disney World, as well as where you can use it. You’ll also need to know which restaurants require extra credits to dine there, like some signature dining experiences. Disney Dining Plan symbols You need to know how to get the most out of the dining plan to make it worth it. If you want to use the dining plan properly, you’ll need to compare what things cost to what you paid for the dining plan and figure out how to get the most bang for your buck (it’s usually by ordering the most expensive item on the menu). Pro tip: get the DFB Disney Dining Plan Guide! Ale & Compass spread You’ll also have to account for the fact that some restaurants will not have kid-friendly menus. This is especially true at signature dining restaurants, meaning that you might not even be able to find food your kid will like at some places you plan on using your dining plan credits at. You could also find yourself challenged if you’ve got a kid who’s a super picky eater. Kids’ meal from Rosie’s All-American Cafe Here’s another thing you need to think about: you don’t have to purchase a Disney Dining Plan. In fact, for many, the Dining Plan may end up costing you MORE than if you just pay for your meals at Disney World restaurants. This is probably even more true now that the kids’ free dining is only a small discount, so you’ll want to consider if the Disney Dining Plan is for you or not. Kids meal in EPCOT! Fear not, though! The Disney Dining Plan can be tough to navigate, but we’ve put together the Disney Dining Plan Guide that will help you figure out how to make the most out of the dining plan, should you choose to purchase it. You’ll learn how to make the most of every single dining credit. 6. We’re always on the hunt for yummy food near Disney. Sometimes you don’t have a park ticket, or you want to stay near your hotel, and we totally get it! Cozze E Vongole Today we visited Simply Capri. It’s an Italian restaurant in the Flamingo Crossings shopping center, only 10 minutes from Animal Kingdom. Lots of Disney Cast Members live in the area and have raved about it to us, so we had to check it out! The atmosphere is very casual and laid-back for table service. They had a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating, with many tables for small and medium-sized parties. The soundtrack was fun, with a great selection of Italian pop songs hits. Simply Capri To drink, we got the Fresh Lemonade for $6. This was suuuper sour, and it shied away from the sweetness you’d usually find in a lemonade. It was very unique and fresh, which we enjoyed! Fresh Lemonade We started with their Cozze E Vongole for $21. This soup was an acidic tomato soup with a small spicy kick. The PEI mussels and top neck clams inside were chewy with a garlic flavor. It came with two pieces of bruschetta, which were perfect for sponging into the soup. Cozze E Vongole Then we tried their Ossobucco Di Vetello for $51. It’s a braised veal Ossobuco with risotto Milanese. The veal was very flavorful and tender – we didn’t even need a knife. The risotto was creamy and had a hint of saffron for complexity. This was also a great portion size and easily shareable. Ossobucco Di Vetello For dessert, we got the Delizia Al Limone for $14. This is a limoncello sponge cake covered with lemon cream, and our server told us they import it straight from Italy. The sponge cake was very fluffy with a strong lemon flavor from the limoncello. The lemon cream added a smooth, creamy texture to the outside that added even more lemon. Delizia Al Limone We had so much fun trying all of the new menu items at Simply Capri. We know it can be tempting to stay on Disney World property your entire trip, but there are great restaurants and entertainment right outside! We love to do this on our check-in or check-out day, or when we’re taking a pool day in the middle of the trip. It’s refreshing and makes us feel like we actually saw Central Florida versus just Disney World. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Disney World food! 7. Are you planning a trip to Disney World with little ones? Well, the kiddos might require a stroller, and you may be wondering what your options are. Disney World Strollers Of course, you can always rent a stroller in Disney World, and they aren’t too incredibly pricey. However, we do our best to avoid having to rent a stroller, and we’re going to tell you why. When in doubt, bring your own! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. They all look the same When you rent a stroller from Disney World, your stroller is going to look like everyone else’s. Sure, the Mickey design might be fun, but if you ever have to park your stroller at a ride and then find it again later, GOOD LUCK. Disney Strollers all look alike They’re uncomfortable and impractical Disney’s strollers are just not comfortable enough for your kids and you. The seats aren’t comfy, and they’re very hard to steer. They’re also impractical because they don’t even lean back. Stroller rental at Disney’s Hollywood Studios They sell out fast on busy days Imagine this. You get to Disney World with plans to rent a stroller at the parks, but the parks are so busy that there aren’t any strollers available to rent. Then you’re stuck without a stroller. This happens often, so it’s something to be aware of. Good luck getting a stroller on a busy day You can’t take them between parks You can’t take a Disney stroller outside of the park where you rent it. That means that once you leave the park, you’re still in need of a stroller. So you’ll still need something for your hotel, Disney Springs, and the water parks. Strollers can’t leave the park The Best Strollers for Disney World So what should you do instead of renting a stroller in Disney World? Bring your own! 8. Disney World spends a lot of time working on its restaurant menus, changing them often, trying new things, occasionally getting rid of things they shouldn’t (Columbia Harbour House, we’re looking at you), and then changing things back again (and, yes, we’re still talking about hush puppies). Turf Club eats Well, sometimes, Disney World just decides to close a restaurant completely to give it a bit of a makeover. Now we’ve seen a LOT of huge restaurant makeovers over the past few years, from Citricos reopening with a brand new look and menu in 2021 to the recent reopening of the Garden View Lounge, which also got a new look and menu. Well, now one of our least favorite hotel restaurants has closed, and we’re wondering…will Disney fix what we think is wrong with it? Disney recently revealed that the Turf Club Lounge at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort would close in late April and reopen in mid-August. During that time, The Turf Club Bar & Grill will remain open with a pop-up bar serving a modified menu. Then, from early to mid-August 2026, The Turf Club Patio will close. From mid-August to mid-September, the Turf Club Bar and Grill will be closed, but the Turf Club Lounge will remain open. Turf Club Bar & Grill So let’s talk about these two dining locations. Here’s the thing…we can’t hold back when we say that Turf Club Bar and Grill is one of our least favorite (and possibly worst) restaurants in Disney World. When we ranked all of the hotel restaurants in Disney World, this one came in DEAD LAST. Now, we know this restaurant gets mixed reviews, but in our opinion, the theming is dull, and the food is just kinda “meh.” Well, with the restaurant being closed for so long for a refurbishment, we can’t help but wonder if it’s going to get a complete makeover, both with the restaurant’s theming (and we feel it really needs SOMETHING to make it a little more exciting) and its food (which we think could also be seriously upgraded). So, should we dare think that Disney is making this restaurant better by fixing its issues? Salted Caramel Creme Brulee See, here’s why we think this might be the case…Disney has done this quite a bit: close a restaurant and then give it a completely new look and menu. When Citricos reopened, it had a completely new Mary Poppins Returns theme and a new menu created by Chef Andres Mendoza. Definitely a glow-up. When the Garden View Lounge reopened with its afternoon tea options, it got a new elegant makeover with a fun Alice in Wonderland-inspired menu. Tea Experience in the Garden View Tea Room So we’re hopeful this could be the case for Turf Club! Of course, Disney has not confirmed any kind of changes it has planned for the restaurant, so we can only guess as to what its plans are. But we do think this would be a great opportunity to turn a mediocre restaurant into a better dining spot. We’ll be keeping an eye out for updates, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 9. While cruising has long been one of the world’s most popular vacation and travel options, it’s exploded in popularity amongst members of Generation X (born between 1965 and 1980) and Millennials (born between 1981 and 1996) in recent years, and we think we have some answers as to why. Disney Treasure Cruise Ship According to Cruising.org, 67% of cruise passengers in 2025 were members of Gen X or younger, with an average age of 46.5, and 36% under the age of 40. So, why has cruising — which traditionally attracted an older clientele — skewed so young in recent years? Well, we believe there are several reasons. Cost Effectiveness and “Value” While cruises are by no means “cheap”, they often provide an all-inclusive experience where a passenger can lock in accommodation, transportation to and from a destination, food, and entertainment all for one price and one booking. This can prove appealing to younger travelers who have seen firsthand how quickly inflation can wreak havoc across various industries, potentially causing a single element of a trip to suddenly jump in price, throwing a whole trip’s budget into flux. Those who live within driving distance of their departure port — and therefore do not need to fly to take their cruise — can especially benefit here due to the always fluctuating nature of airfare prices. The Disney Destiny at port Safety While there are obviously some dangers to cruising — from the typical dangers that come with any kind of vacation to more cruise-specific threats, including the spread of stomach viruses and the very nature of being at sea — their all-inclusive, controlled environment can still seem safer to some travelers than an open environment they’re unfamiliar with. This can be especially true for solo travelers, who may feel safer traveling alone on a large ship. According to Cruising.org, 12% of cruise travelers were solo travelers in 2024. ©Carnival A Good Option for “Cross-Generational Trips” Cruises also provide a solid option for Gen X members and millennials to bring together the older and younger generations of their family, all on one trip. The Cruising.org report states that of 28% of passengers cruise with three to five generations. ©Carnival The Appeal of Disney Gone By… From a Disney-specific standpoint, Disney Cruises arguably offer an experience closer to the Disney World that these generations experienced as kids in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s than the current parks do, thanks to trademark Disney service standards. guaranteed access to included theme restaurants, roaming Disney characters, and a litany of experiences that don’t need to be overly planned. Disney Treasure’s signature sculpture Thanks to economic and social factors, cruising is becoming more and more popular among members of both Gen X and Millennials. 10. Disney does a great deal of work to make Disney World feel like a magical place, whether you’re in the parks or at a Disney World hotel. This is why so many folks insist on staying inside the “Disney bubble” when they visit the resort. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort However, sometimes things can still go wrong at Disney World. We’ve seen everything from fire alarms to unexpected construction to dragons catching fire. Well, today, one Disney World hotel, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, had a really bad day...so bad that it was raining…INSIDE the hotel. Granted, things like this do sometimes happen, although you may visit Disney World ALL the time and never see anything like this. If you do, though, make sure that Cast Members are alerted. They will know what to do and will know how to keep everyone safe while they call for someone to come repair the issue. We can guarantee that it will probably be repaired quickly. Disney is FAST when something like that happens. Landscape of Flavors when it’s dry It’s also likely this area will be blocked off for a while while repairs are happening, as well as while clean-up is being done on it. So just pay attention, and don’t let it ruin your day. But it does bring up the question: “Should I wear a poncho INSIDE my hotel?” We’ll keep an eye out for more strange occurrences in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 3 Weird Facts I Wish I’d Known Before Booking Disney World Character Dining Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 11. We headed overseas for our latest Disney food review! Our meal During a visit to Disneyland Paris Resort to check out the BRAND-NEW World of Frozen at the newly-named Disney Adventure World, we stopped by Paris’ version of Disney Springs/Downtown Disney to try a classic entrée at Brasserie Rosalie! We have a lot of thoughts, so buckle up! If you’d like to try it yourself, Brasserie Rosalie is located just opposite Lake Disney in the heart of Disney Village. Rosalie This spot is a table-service brasserie that offers both indoor and outdoor seating (seasonally), and you’ll find plenty of timeless classics native to both the States and France. Some popular French dishes include onion soup, Burgundy snails, roasted French chicken supreme, mussels in Isigny cream sauce, and profiteroles. A look inside If you’re in a rush and don’t have time to sit down, Le Comptoir is a counter option attached to the restaurant that offers a selection of on-the-go sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Pretty views! During our visit, we tried the Classic Pepper Steak with French Fries for €27.50…and we have thoughts. This is a simple steak, but some of the best steaks anyone could have are kept simple. When the natural flavors of the meat combine with some seasoning, magic happens. But we’ve dealt with inconsistencies in food quality at Disneyland Paris, so we were nervous, nevertheless. Classic Pepper Steak Fortunately, we found this meal neither outstanding nor offensive. To put it bluntly: This dish was okay. Our steak was cooked to our medium-rare request, and it had a nice pink center. What’s weird, though, is that it was served fairly cold. We’re used to our steaks being served piping hot or at least warm, so it’s safe to say we were taken aback. It’s tough to pinpoint what went wrong. It’s possible it was left to rest too long, and the issue fell on service rather than the chefs — which is a shame, because the seasoning and flavor were both hits with us. Great color The fries were also imperfect. Good, but imperfect. We found them to be a bit floppy, but they still tasted pretty good with the right amount of salt. French fries We thought our pepper sauce was on the thinner side and added a nice glossiness to the steak. Definitely dip your steak in this if you end up trying it, because the pepper flavor really shines. We got a glass of red wine with our meal, thinking it would pair nicely. We’re happy to report that we were correct! Red wine So did this meal change our opinion of the quality of food at Disneyland Paris? Nah, not really. It was decent, but didn’t blow our socks off. Being served a cold steak was a massive misstep by the restaurant, and the dish was below average for a French steak frites meal. But, hey — Disneyland Paris’ food reputation needs a win, and this was better than a lot of meals we’ve had at the Parisian resort. 13. There are a lot of ways to become memorable in Magic Kingdom. You can rope drop TRON. You can cry during Happily Ever After. You can spend $19 on a popcorn bucket and pretend that was always the plan. Laugh Floor Or…you can become That Guy at Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. And if you’ve never had the pleasure, let us explain: every show needs one unsuspecting human to become the recurring punchline. It is an honor. It is a curse. It is, frankly, one of the funniest things happening in Tomorrowland on any given day. Laugh Floor Signage Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is built on audience participation, so no two shows play out exactly the same. Mike Wazowski and friends are up there training to be the funniest monsters in Monstropolis, and sometimes that means lovingly roasting one random guest for several glorious minutes. If you’ve ever wondered how people end up with that distinction, we’ve got a few tips. Monsters of Comedy Wall No, it’s not an exact science. But if your dream is to get lightly bullied by cartoon monsters in front of a room full of strangers, there are definitely ways to improve your odds. Wear the Joke If you want to get picked, step one is simple: be easy to spot. Laugh Floor Bright colors, goofy hats, loud patterns, sparkly ears, birthday buttons, shirts with ridiculous slogans, anything that makes you pop in a dim theater full of people in standard park uniforms of gray tank tops and mild sun exhaustion. You don’t need to dress like you lost a bet, but it does help to look a little more visually interesting than the sea of neutral vacation wear around you. See the laugh tank in the corner? This is especially true if your outfit tells a story. A silly hat? A flashy shirt? A whole vibe? That’s comedy bait right there. Basically, if a camera operator can find you in half a second, you’re already ahead of the game. Sit Like You Mean It Location matters. It’s getting ready to start! If you really want a shot at becoming That Guy, try to get into the theater early enough to snag a seat in the front half of the room, ideally near the end of a row. You don’t have to be in the very first row like you’re accepting an award, but you do want to be somewhere easy for the camera to land on without a bunch of heads and shoulders in the way. Laugh Floor has a Halloween makeover! This is one of those cases where being a little strategic actually helps. Laugh Floor is not the place to drift into the back row and hope destiny finds you through three pairs of mouse ears and a balloon. Sit where you can be seen. Monstropolis cannot lovingly embarrass what it cannot locate. Play It Cool Now here’s where things get deliciously ironic. One of the easiest ways to get picked is to give off the energy that you absolutely, positively do not want to be picked. A little shy? A little awkward? Slightly horrified to be there? Congratulations, you may already be giving prime That Guy material. Waiting to go in The show works because the reactions are funny. If you look bashful, mildly panicked, or like you were dragged there against your will by an overly cheerful family member, that can read really well on camera. Monsters love contrast. The room loves contrast. Comedy loves contrast. Time to go! That does not mean you should be rude, pouty, or make a dramatic scene. This is not community theater for people who want to get escorted out. You’re aiming for “adorably reluctant,” not “man arguing with a lamp at a sports bar.” Subtlety is your friend here. Don’t Audition for It This might be the most important tip of all. If you try too hard, there’s a decent chance you’ll torpedo the whole thing. Special Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Laugh Floor is funniest when the audience interaction feels natural. So if you’re flailing, waving both arms, making faces, trying to out-joke the monsters, or broadcasting “PLEASE PICK ME, I HAVE PREPARED MATERIAL,” you may actually make yourself less appealing as a target. Nobody wants That Guy to feel like he’s been workshopping this moment in the mirror all morning. The Mind-Reading Monster The sweet spot is being visible, expressive, and game without turning into a one-person preshow. Let the monsters do the comedy. Your job is just to be a delightful canvas for it. Think “good reaction shot,” not “open mic night at Señor Frog’s.” Commit to the Bit If you do get picked, the absolute best thing you can do is go with it. Smile. Laugh. Lean in. Accept your fate with the dignity of someone who has just been chosen by Mike Wazowski himself. Laugh Floor Because once you are That Guy, you are not just getting one little shoutout and moving on with your life. You are very likely becoming a recurring gag throughout the show. Your face may pop up again. And again. And possibly again, just when you thought it was over. This is not the moment to shut down and stare into the middle distance like you’re questioning every life choice that led you here. The fun of the bit is in the audience reaction, and the better sport you are, the funnier the whole thing becomes. Also, let’s be real: there are worse Disney vacation memories than “animated monsters publicly adopted me as their favorite punchline.” Know What You’re Signing Up For For some people, being That Guy is the dream. For others, it sounds like the social equivalent of being chased by a velociraptor through Tomorrowland. And both reactions are valid. If getting called out in a live show sounds like your personal nightmare, the easiest counter-strategy is basically the opposite of everything above: dress normally, sit farther back, avoid looking too reactive, and pray to the comedy gods that someone else in a neon Goofy bucket hat takes the hit for the team. ©Amazon But if you’ve always secretly wanted your little brush with Monstropolis fame, this is one of the easiest places in Disney World to shoot your shot. No virtual queue. No lightning-fast fingers. No waking up at 6:55AM in a cold sweat. Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Just vibes, visibility, and a willingness to become part of the joke. The Final Punchline At the end of the day, there’s no foolproof formula for becoming That Guy at Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. The show is live, the monsters are chaotic, and comedy has always had a tiny streak of anarchy in it. Text in your joke But if you wear something memorable, sit where the camera can find you, act just a little bashful, and avoid trying to force the bit, your odds definitely get better. And if you do get picked? Congratulations. You are now part of the show. Part of the lore. Part of Monstropolis comedy history. Let’s laugh Try not to let it go to your head. While this might not guarantee that you will be selected, it can really help your chances! 16. One of the Disneyland Resort’s most popular dark rides has been battling a permanent closure for years, but 2027 will finally see it close its doors for good. Say it ain’t so, Mike! When Walt said that Disneyland would always be changing, he wasn’t kidding. While theme park expansion is very exciting, sometimes it comes with a cost. In the case of the new Avatar land in Disney California Adventure, the fallout is that we’ll be losing Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! — which is kind of a bummer. Disney revealed this year that the ride will remain open throughout 2026, but we’ll still need to say goodbye for good in 2027. Despite being originally slated to close in early 2026 (which has already come and gone, if you can believe it), the Monsters, Inc. ride has survived — for now. The permanent closure timeline was extended into 2027 at an unspecified date, so you’ll have plenty of time to see Boo, Mike, and Sulley before they leave the park in favor of James Cameron’s box office-smashing film franchise. Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue! A ride that generally garners steady wait times, this dark ride takes passengers through an abridged retelling of the first Monsters, Inc. film. Packed with plenty of humor, heart, and air conditioning — this ride has been a favorite of fans of all ages since it replaced Superstar Limo in the early 2000s. Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! A LOT is going on at California Adventure now, as Disney is doubling the size of Avengers Campus with two new rides and a new Coco ride in addition to everything going on in the Hollywood Land Backlot area. Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! Recently, Disney filed a permit with the City of Anaheim regarding the Monsters, Inc. ride demolition, as well as the removal of the Hollywood Lounge beverage stand in the same area. Hollywood Lounge The new Avatar land is not expected to open until 2028 or 2029, and as of this writing, no visible progress has been made — at least from the general public’s perspective. Avatar Land ©Disney This new Avatar land is unique from Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which is based on the first Avatar movie. This California-based land will instead be inspired by the sequel films and will contain at least one unique ride. We still don’t know much about it, but Disney has teased that it will be an adventure boat ride. Crossing our fingers that it’s like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Shanghai Disneyland! ©Disney We’re excited to learn more about this land and its attractions, and we’ll be sure to keep you posted on all the latest info once it rolls in! ©Disney How are you feeling about Monsters, Inc. 18. It’s no exaggeration to say there is a LOT going on in Disney at the moment. In Orlando alone, it feels like every month is bringing some major change. Magic Kingdom The company is working on developing new lands like Piston Peak, Villians Land, the Walt Disney Studios, Pueblo Espranza, and more! That’s why each week, our team likes to do a complete breakdown of every piece of major news you might have missed. This week Disney made sure we have PLENTY to tell you about, so let’s dive right in! This week left our team with a bit of whiplash and a ton of excitement because Disney wasn’t holding back! From Orlando to California, both U.S. Disney theme parks have some fun in store for us. Let’s start with the news that has this writer personally thrilled. Things Are About To Get Muppety After months of waiting, we finally know that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring the Muppets is opening on May 26th, 2026! Not only did Disney give us an opening date, but they also dropped the full set list for the attraction AND gave us a first look at that famous band. ©Disney If you want to rock out, you’ll be able to hear: “Song 2” by The Electric Mayhem (made famous by Blur) “Born To Be Wild” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken (made famous by Steppenwolf) “Love Rollercoaster” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard “Walking on Sunshine” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson While some were holding out hope for classics like “Rainbow Connection,” we think this is a fun and energetic set of songs that will make each ride feel different! The band is also looking ready for their big performance. ©Disney Disney also shared that there would be celebrity cameos, including people like Travis Barker, Awkwafina, Yvette Nicole Brown, John Stamos, and more! Disney also confirmed that previews will take place ahead of the opening. This has us insanely excited for the ride, which will open in just over a month. Everything we know about Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring the Muppets Get Ready for 2027 in Disney World This week, Disney also said, “Get ready for next year!” because they dropped tons of new information about 2027 Disney World Vacation Packages. Yes, you can already start booking your 2027 hotel and tickets now! They shared ticket and hotel prices through October 2027. 1-day tickets start at $119 for one park, which is no change from the current pricing. Disney World Theme Park Tickets They also confirmed a NEW version of the Disney Dining Plan is going to be around in 2027. In 2027, you can choose from 3 Disney Dining Plans: the Quick-Service Dining Plan, the Table-Service (or Standard) Dining Plan, or the new Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan. The Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan differs from the Standard Table-Service Dining Plan in that it includes TWO (2) table-service meals per night of stay, instead of just one. The Hollywood Brown Derby That’s not all! They even confirmed the return of hotel perks like early entry, free water park entry, extended evening hours, and more. So yeah, get to planning! CONFIRMED: 6 Disney World Hotel Perks Are Coming BACK in 2027 We’re Off To Save The Galaxy Heading over to Disneyland, we finally got our first look at some VERY famous characters! Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo are all coming to Galaxy’s Edge, and we finally got a chance to see what they’ll look like. ©Disney This is all part of Disneyland’s major change to Galaxy’s Edge. They’re changing the timeline for Batuu to include ALL timelines in the Star Wars universe, which means our favourite galaxy heroes will now be around! It’s not just the heroes, though; even Darth Vader will be on Batuu now! ©Disney We are pretty pumped about these changes, especially because we have wanted to meet these characters, not just at Star Wars Nite! Characters like Ahsoka Tano, The Mandalorian, Grogu, R2-D2, and Rey will still be in the land as well. Learn All About The Disneyland Galaxy Edge Changes Here Okay, you write all that down? No need to! We did it for you! We just wanted to make sure you were paying attention. These are some seriously big announcements, and we can’t wait to see them come to life. 19. The “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” is about to return! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom After a closure that began in January of 2025, the Magic Kingdom’s legendary E-Ticket coaster Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is scheduled to reopen on May 3rd with replaced tracks, new ride vehicles, and some “new magic,” including a new sequence that pays tribute to Disney history. In fact, these changes — and a “comprehensive review from their safety teams” — have even allowed Disney to lower the ride’s height requirement from 40 inches to 38 inches, giving younger riders the opportunity to experience the attraction even earlier! ©Disney However, beyond these infrastructure changes, Big Thunder is also receiving a new show scene featuring phosphorescent pools, shimmering and illuminating iridescent stalagmites and stalactites in a spectacularly colorful recreation of natural caverns. ©Disney This new “rainbow caverns” sequence is actually a full-circle moment for the attraction, as they’re similar to the rainbow caverns that once found a home in both the Rainbow Caverns Mine Train and its successor, the Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland, a pair of early Disneyland attractions that closed to make way for — drumroll please — the original Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! Furthermore, said Disneyland version is also home to its own (smaller scale) rainbow caverns tribute, so the new addition also makes the bo-coastal coaster siblings even more similar. ©D23 The new and should-be-improved Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is scheduled to reopen on May 3rd, and will be added to the Magic Kingdom’s Tier 1 Lightning Land options on the same day. Stay tuned to DFB for more on the iconic attraction’s reopening. 5 Magic Kingdom Secrets Disney Doesn’t Want You to Know Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 22. Bluey fans are going to be FLOODING Disney World on May 26th, because Bluey and Bingo are coming for the first time! Bluey and Bingo The beloved show, Bluey, is finally coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom next month! The new experience, called Bluey’s Wild World, will feature Bluey and Bingo as they take over the Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. With Bluey coming soon, there is one thing we NEED to see…well, six things. Yes, it has to do with food! On May 26th, families will be able to head over to Bluey’s Wild World on the Wildlife Express Train and play special games directly from Bluey episodes. On top of that, you can meet and take pictures with Bluey and Bingo and discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia, at Jumping Junction! Wildlife Express We’re excited about everything that’s coming, but we noticed there hasn’t been an announcement on food, snacks, drinks, or any of that! We’re the Disney Food Blog, of course, we want exclusive Bluey snacks. A special event called Bluey’s Best Day Ever came to Disneyland on March 22nd, and they had tons of special snacks! Bluey’s Best Day Ever We got to go to Bluey’s Best Day Ever at Disneyland Park, and after trying some of the limited-time snacks, we’re begging Disney World to bring them to Bluey’s Wild World. There are six specifically that we seriously NEED to come next month. So, Disney, hear our wishlist! Bluey’s Best Day Ever was packed! Pizza Girls Baked Potato The Pizza Girls Baked Potato is a MUST for Disney World. This snack is topped with pepperoni, sausage, bacon bits, marinara, mozzarella, alfredo sauce, and a parmesan herb topper. We could argue that this was our favorite thing we had at the Disneyland event. The sauce was zesty, and the pepperoni and sausage were so flavorful. The cheese was everything a cheese lover could ask for — perfectly ooey and made for a fantastic cheese pull. PLEASE DISNEY! Pizza Girls Baked Potato Poffertjes! Poffertjes! If you don’t know what they are, poffertjes are mini Dutch pancakes topped with buttered condensed milk and powdered sugar. Sounds tasty, right?! The ones we had at Disneyland were doughy in the best way and were a great little sweet treat. They were perfectly cooked, yet not crispy. We’d totally get them again…if Disney World would bring them! Poffertjes! Poffertjes! Magic “Asparagus” Pretzel Don’t judge it before you try it! Why do we say that? Because it’s not actually asparagus! The Magic “Asparagus” Pretzel is a pretzel rod coated in white chocolate. This thing was huge when we had it, but it was the perfect balance between white chocolate and pretzel. What we love about this is its unique look. Doesn’t it look like it was pulled from a cartoon? Beware, though — since that green food coloring is all over, it’ll turn ANYTHING it touches green, especially in the heat. Magic “Asparagus” Pretzel Pavlova Parfait The sweet treat Disney World needs is the Pavlova Parfait. It includes meringue bites, vanilla yogurt mousse, berry compote, vanilla cake, fresh berries, and candied kiwi! The berry compote was very tart when we had it, but the fresh fruit and vanilla cake helped balance it out with sweetness. The kiwi candies offered an extra crunch, and while this one isn’t exactly “healthy,” it does feel a little fresher and “healthier” than the others. Ah, gotta love how fruit can make you feel that way. Pavlova Parfait Lime Ice Block Drink We talked a lot about the snacks, so let’s talk about a drink that Disney World needs. The Lime Ice Block Drink would definitely catch your eyes the way it did ours. This is pineapple limeade with coconut milk, but the best part is that it comes with a watermelon ice block inside. You can probably expect that this was a super sweet drink, and the popsicle melts fast in the drink. Honestly, when the popsicle melted, it added to the flavor. In the Florida heat, this one would HIT! Lime Ice Block Drink Mud Cake Cold Brew We hate to bring this up, because we don’t want coffee fans to be disappointed if it never comes to Disney World, but we NEED the Mud Cake Cold Brew here. This drink is made of Joffrey’s Coffee French Roast Cold Brew with a malted milk topper, fudge brownie bits, and sprinkles. If this came to Disney World, it would instantly become one of the park’s sweetest drinks. It tasted like a melted chocolate coffee shake. We’ll be honest, it was a little TOO sweet, but it hooked us enough that we want it again! Mud Cake Cold Brew Not only do we want to have these six items again, but we would love for all of you who are going to Disney World this summer to try them out as well. So, we’ll keep hoping and wishing that these come to Disney World. For more Disney content, make sure to follow us at the Disney Food Blog. 23. Disneyland is changing its Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land this month by turning back the clock and introducing characters from the original trilogy, notably Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo. ©Star Wars The Star Wars social media accounts have been slowly releasing their never-before-seen Disneyland looks, and when we reposted them, not all fans were satisfied with their new looks. One of the fans’ first criticisms of Han Solo was his hair. @barberfrankfroese commented on our Instagram, “Why they give him a Prince Charming wig?” @devusername posted “Awesome! But why did you post a video of Flynn Rider to announce it?” James commented, “Flynn Rider cosplaying as Han is a choice.” ©Star Wars Most people are unanimously agreeing that this wig is giving That 70’s Show, with one comment mentioning Michael Kelso, and another bringing up Fez. Franklin on Facebook commented, “His hair screams fifth member of the Beatles.” While we love Han’s Farrah Fawcett volume, this wig is… something… compared to the original films. ©Disney Disneyland’s Han Solo is wearing his Empire Strikes Back look, but his vest looks much bluer than in the film. Scott on Facebook commented, “Is he working for Walmart in that blue vest?” while Sara replied, “Blue vest?! Looks like a department store employee.” ©Star Wars Lots of commenters mentioned Temu, an ultra-affordable dupe store often used in memes to reference cheap quality. Tom on Facebook called him “Temu Solo, captain of the Monthly Sparrow,” while Rich asked, “Is that the Temu version of this pair?” in reference to Han and Chewie together. ©Star Wars Now that Disneyland has released the full lineup’s outfits, fans are up in arms about the whole cast. When we posted Leia’s new look to our Instagram, @toy_therapy commented, “I’ve seen better cosplayers.” @clocloagogo said that “They told Snow White to put this wig on.” Meanwhile, @tori_rfarmer asked, “Why does this Leia look so cringey?? She’s giving Debby Ryan from Radio Rebel.” ©Disney If you’d like to meet the characters yourself at Disneyland, the newly revamped area will open on April 29th. In addition to Han and Leia having meet-and-greets, you can also say hello to Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, and Chewbacca in front of the Millennium Falcon. Ahsoka and The Mandalorian with Grogu can be found in the Black Spire Market in the land. ©Disney We’ll be at Disneyland on the opening day to see these new characters in action. On paper, this duo looked like it was built for chaotic park people who want to feel organized, hydrated, and maybe just a little smug. A premium bag! A matching bottle! Compartments! Clips! That gorgeous Rose Quartz color that says, “I pack electrolytes and make good choices.” Reader, it did not quite work out that way. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. This isn’t one of those reviews where we pretend something is life-changing because it has a trendy logo and a cute colorway. The truth is a little messier, which is to say much more useful. There are things this backpack does well. In fact, there are a couple of things it does really well. But when you stack the good against the price, and then throw in the matching shaker bottle that made park hydration more annoying instead of less, this set starts to feel less like a Disney World essential and more like a very pretty budgeting mistake. Pretty, But Pricey Let’s start with the obvious. This set looks good. The Rose Quartz color is very cute. Very polished. Very “I definitely alphabetized my packing cubes and brought emergency Liquid I.V. in a labeled pouch.” Stanley also knows how to make a product feel premium at first glance. The materials look nice, the design feels thoughtful, and the overall vibe is less “random park backpack” and more “aspirational lifestyle accessory that accidentally wandered into Tomorrowland.” It comes with both! The problem is that once you get past the first impression, the price starts doing that thing where it quietly sits in the corner and judges you. At this price point, you don’t just want cute. You want useful, sturdy, breathable, practical, easy to clean, and versatile enough that it doesn’t require you to build an entire Stanley Cinematic Universe around it just to feel worth it. That’s where this set starts wobbling. Because no, this isn’t total junk. That would almost be easier. This is more annoying than that. This is a bag with some genuinely solid features that still somehow lands on “would not recommend” for most Disney World travelers. view ON AMAZON The Backpack’s Best Trick Let’s give the backpack its flowers first, because it does have a best trick, and that trick is storage. If you are the kind of Disney person who packs like you are preparing for a natural disaster, this bag may briefly make you feel seen. There is room for everything. Sunscreen, chargers, snacks, ponchos, medicine, cooling towels, an umbrella, hand sanitizer, backup hand sanitizer, emotional support lip balm, and the random receipts you’ll forget to throw away until July. This bag can handle it. A look inside Better yet, it doesn’t carry like a hulking nightmare. One of the biggest positives in the testing notes was how lightweight and comfortable it felt, even when it was loaded up. That matters in Disney World, where a bad backpack can turn you into a hunched-over goblin by lunchtime. This one distributes weight well, and that makes a real difference on a full park day. Another look The cupholder situation is also more functional than expected. The side holders felt secure, and those little clips actually came in handy for tucking in a water bottle or clipping an umbrella strap before rides. That is the kind of oddly specific park usefulness we appreciate. There’s also a top storage area with a key clip, which gave off a reassuring little anti-theft energy without turning the bag into a full tactical mission. Water bottle storage So yes, there is a version of this review where we say, “Surprise! It’s actually great.” But then the other stuff showed up. view ON AMAZON Where It Starts to Fall Apart The first issue is that this bag feels designed for a very specific customer: someone who is already fully committed to Stanley as a lifestyle. That sounds snarky, but it’s also the central problem. Shaker Bottle So many of the backpack’s premium features are built around Stanley products specifically. The cupholder clips, the interior setup, the dedicated spaces, the whole ecosystem of it all, it starts to feel less like a universally great theme park backpack and more like an accessory for your accessories. If you already own the Stanley drinkware lineup and want a matching bag to cradle it like royalty, maybe that sounds delightful. For everyone else, it’s limiting. Then there’s the breathability issue. The back padding was comfortable, yes, but not very airy, which meant the bag got warm fast. In the Florida heat, that matters. A sweaty back might not be the end of the world, but when a product is positioning itself as a premium all-day bag, “this made me hot and damp” is not exactly the testimonial of dreams. Back of the backpack And then came the stain drama. After just a little over three days of full use, the Rose Quartz version had already started staining toward the bottom. Three days. Not three years. Not “after repeated abuse.” Three days of regular use. That is where this review really takes a hard turn from “overpriced but maybe worth it for the right person” into “absolutely not at this price.” Because if you’re spending this much on a backpack for Disney World, it cannot be delicate. This is not a museum bag. This is a theme park bag. It needs to survive sunscreen hands, damp pavement, ride vehicle floors, snack spills, stroller brushes, and whatever weird sticky mystery lives on a quick-service table at 2PM. If it’s already picking up stains after one trip, that’s a real issue. view ON AMAZON The Matching Bottle Mess Now let’s talk about the shaker bottle, which took this coordinated little Stanley fantasy and shoved it directly into the “not for the parks” bin. To be fair, this is technically a shaker bottle, not a traditional water bottle. And if you use shaker bottles all the time for powders or protein drinks, maybe you’ll have a more romantic experience with it. But for Disney World? No. Absolutely not. Stanley Vitalize Shaker Bottle The removable strainer makes it less convenient to refill on the go. The twist-open sections are clunkier than they need to be. The rounded interior and bottom storage compartment eat into the actual liquid capacity, which is deeply unhelpful when your main need in the parks is not “Where shall I place my pre-workout powder?” but “Please give me enough cold water to survive walking from Norway to France.” Inside the shaker And then there’s the cold retention, which was just not impressive. The bottle kept water cold for about two to three hours, was only slightly cold after that, and drifted to room temperature around the five-hour mark. In Disney World, that is a problem. Park days are long. Florida is humid. Lukewarm water by mid-afternoon is the kind of betrayal that changes a person. So yes, it matches the backpack. Beautifully, even. But matching is not a personality, and it definitely isn’t a hydration strategy. view ON AMAZON Who This Might Work For To be crystal clear, we’re not saying nobody on earth should buy this backpack. If you are an overpacker, a park parent, or someone who truly needs a bag that can haul half your household across property without wrecking your shoulders, you may actually like parts of this. The organization is strong. The storage is generous. It carries lighter than it looks. For the right person, that’s meaningful. It’s stunning But even then, we’d still stop short of recommending it broadly. Why? Because for most Disney World visitors, this is just too much bag for too much money. If you typically do the parks with a smaller backpack, belt bag, or purse, this thing is probably overkill. And if you’re shopping for overall value, durability, and versatility, the Stanley-specific design makes it feel more niche than necessary. In other words, this isn’t a terrible product. It’s a too-expensive, too-specialized product that doesn’t quite justify its own existence unless you fall into a pretty narrow lane. view ON AMAZON The Real Verdict This set feels like it was designed in a boardroom where someone said, “What if hydration had a matching luggage collection?” and nobody brave enough said, “Sure, but does it actually make a Disney day better?” The backpack is the stronger half of the duo, no question. It’s comfortable, roomy, and surprisingly easy to carry for something this big. But it’s also warm, stain-prone, and expensive for a bag whose best features mostly shine if you’re already committed to Stanley’s product family. When in the Disney parks, you need the essentials to keep you going! The shaker bottle is where the whole thing really loses us. It’s awkward for park use, not ideal for refilling, and just doesn’t keep water cold long enough to earn a permanent spot in a Disney World lineup. Stanley Vitalize Shaker Bottle So no, we wouldn’t recommend spending $150 on this matching setup for your Disney trip. If you’re a die-hard Stanley fan who loves matching gear and wants a roomy bag for hauling all the things, you might still be tempted. But if you’re just looking for smart, reliable Disney World essentials, this duo is giving more “cute concept” than “worth your money.” And in this economy? We need a little less cute concept and a little more “didn’t stain before the fireworks.” view ON AMAZON Conclusion The STANLEY Vitalize Backpack set isn’t a total disaster, which somehow makes it even more frustrating. There’s a decent bag hiding in here, buried under the price tag, the brand-specific design, and the reality that Disney World is just too hot, too messy, and too chaotic for gear that only works at full power inside a matching Stanley ecosystem. It comes with both! We loved the storage. We appreciated the comfort. We respected the ambition. But if you’re asking whether this is the park bag and bottle combo we’d tell our friends to buy before a Disney trip, the answer is no. Save your money, grab something sturdier and more practical, and spend the difference on snacks. And those are our thoughts. Brutal? Maybe. But honest.
