The Tree of Life After last week saw wait times go down pretty much across the board at Walt Disney World, this week saw that trend unfortunately head in the opposite direction. Major attractions at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom saw increases in their average wait times, some as high as 10 MINUTES! Take a look at this week’s average wait times — going from highest to lowest! Magic Kingdom Wait Times Before we get to those big changes however, we start at the Magic Kingdom, where things remained relatively stable. Only Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean saw appreciable increases, bumping up by 5 and 6 minutes respectively. (NOTE: Since Tron Lightcycle/Run does not currently use a standby queue, it’s not included here) Mine Train Seven Dwarfs Mine Train — 66 minutes Peter Pan’s Flight — 51 minutes Jungle Cruise — 44 minutes Space Mountain — 42 minutes Haunted Mansion — 31 minutes Big Thunder Mountain Railroad — 29 minutes Pirates of the Caribbean Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh — 29 minutes Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin — 26 minutes Enchanted Tales with Belle — 25 minutes Astro Orbiter — 25 minutes Pirates of the Caribbean — 20 minutes “it’s a small world” — 19 minutes Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini — 16 minutes Dumbo Mickey’s PhilharMagic — 14 minutes Dumbo the Flying Elephant — 13 minutes Magic Carpets of Aladdin — 13 minutes Prince Charming Regal Carrousel — 13 minutes Liberty Square Riverboat — 13 minutes Tomorrowland Speedway — 12 minutes Enchanted Tiki Room — 10 minutes Mad Tea Party — 10 minutes Carousel of Progress Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover — 9 minutes Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse — 5 minutes Carousel of Progress — 5 minutes Tom Sawyer Island — 5 minutes Hall of Presidents — 5 minutes Country Bear Jamboree — (This attraction has now closed for refurbishment — read all about the changes here) OPENING TIMELINE and FIRST LOOK Revealed for NEW Magic Kingdom Attraction EPCOT Wait Times EPCOT’s wait times saw an interesting pattern develop this week. While the times for the park’s major attractions like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After remained relatively stable, the average waits for the parks slightly lower tier attractions jumped. (NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, it’s not included here) Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — 63 minutes Frozen Ever After — 62 minutes Test Track — 53 minutes Mission: SPACE — 34 minutes Soarin’ — 31 minutes EPCOT Turtle Talk with Crush — 15 minutes Spaceship Earth — 11 minutes Journey into Imagination — 11 minutes The Seas with Nemo and Friends — 9 minutes Gran Fiesta Tour — 9 minutes Living with the Land — 8 minutes The Grand Finale! Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week. REVIEW: Not Enough People Try THIS When Drinking Around the World in EPCOT Animal Kingdom Wait Times Animal Kingdom is where times really started to go haywire this week. Waits were up pretty much across the board at the park, with Flight of Passage leading the way with a whopping roughly 18 minute jump. Avatar Flight of Passage Avatar Flight of Passage — 88 minutes Na’vi River Journey — 49 minutes Kilimanjaro Safaris — 32 minutes Kali River Rapids — 27 minutes Kali River Rapids Expedition Everest — 26 minutes Dinosaur — 18 minutes It’s Tough to Be a Bug — 9 minutes TriceraTop Spin — 7 minutes The Boneyard — 0 minutes Expedition Everest DFB Video: 50 AMAZING Things You Never Knew Were in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Hollywood Studios Wait Times Like Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios has also seen some BIG jumps this week. Toy Story Mania and Tower of Terror both saw toughly 10 minute jumps, while the park’s other major attractions saw incremental increases. Rise of the Resistance Slinky Dog Dash — 78 minutes Rise of the Resistance — 64 minutes Tower of Terror — 57 minutes Tower of Terror Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run — 49 minutes Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway — 47 minutes Toy Story Mania — 47 minutes Alien Swirling Saucers — 29 minutes Star Tours queue in Hollywood Studios Star Tours — 12 minutes Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy — 11 minutes Muppet Vision 3D — 10 minutes Walt Disney Presents — 1 minutes Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is currently closed for refurbishment and is set to reopen this summer.
