Disney4me
We’re going to ask you a question, but we already know what your answer will be. Do you like FREE prizes for eating food in EPCOT? Who wouldn’t?! Well, throughout EPCOT’s seasonal festivals, Disney introduces new scavenger hunts and experiences designed to get more food in our bellies and more prizes in our suitcases. Now that the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is HERE, we’re back for a NEW stroll around the park. Let’s eat! 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts The 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has officially started! The event will run through February 19th, 2024, so make sure to stop by before it ends. There are TONS of food booths to explore and new snacks to try, but there’s also a way to win a PRIZE just for snacking around the world! The Rules The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine is like a mini bucket list of snacks and treats to try during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts. Inside your EPCOT festival passport, you’ll find a list of dishes that are part of the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, and you must purchase five of the qualifying menu items to get a free prize. Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine Don’t forget to grab a festival passport stamp at each location — you’ll need five stamps to redeem your prize at the end. After you’ve collected all your stamps and tried all the tasty treats, bring your completed passport to the Deco Delights Food Studio! A Cast Member will then hook you up with a FREE prize! Yeehaw! Deco Delights The good news is that there’s no time limit on the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine; as long as you complete it before the festival ends, Cast Members will give you a prize. Let’s get into the details of the dishes and the prize now. The Dishes Here’s a full list of the dishes that qualify for the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine: Pop Eats: Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese ($5.75) Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Pop Eats: Tomato Soup with Pimento Cheese, Bacon and Fried Green Tomato Grilled Cheese ($6.50) Tomato Soup with pimento cheese, bacon, and fried green tomato grilled cheese Vibrante & Vívido: Chorizo and Potato Empanada with Turmeric Aïoli and Annatto Aïoli ($6.75) Chorizo and Potato Empanada Gourmet Landscapes: Verjus-Roasted Beets with Goat Cheese, Petite Lettuce, Blackberry Gastrique and Spiced Pecans ($5.50) Verjus-roasted Beets with goat cheese, petite lettuce, blackberry gastrique, and spiced pecans The Deconstructed Dish: Deconstructed Key Lime Pie ($6.50) Deconstructed Key Lime Pie: Flexible Key Lime Curd, “Key Lime” Mousse, Graham Cracker Cake, and Meringues Deco Delights: Neapolitan Dessert Trio ($5.50) Neapolitan Dessert Trio Figment’s Inspiration Station: Blueberry-Filled Pastry Tart with Purple Icing ($4.75) Blueberry-filled Pastry Tart with purple icing Don’t forget that you don’t need to get ALL of these items. Instead, you only need five of the seven to qualify for a FREE prize! The Prize When you’re ready, head to Deco Delights to get your prize — this year, you get a Paint Palette Cookie and a Mixed Berry Smoothie in a souvenir cup! Completer Items This cookie is actually…not good. The cookie itself is kind of flavorless, and the decorations on top are pretty much just sugar. Out of everything we ate for the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, this might’ve been the worst thing we had. The Mixed Berry Smoothie is pretty sweet and definitely fruity. Is It Worth It? Overall, you’ll spend between $26 and $31 to complete this challenge. Whether the completer prize is worth that cost…yeah, not really. If you were planning to get five of these seven treats anyway, then it would totally be worth it because, hey, it’s just a free treat at that point! It’s a fun little challenge that allows you to visit several EPCOT locations. Cookie But the cookie and smoothie aren’t really actual motivators, you know? They’re just not super amazing. Smoothie Overall, the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine can be a fun way to experience the Festival — give it a try if you’re looking for something NEW to do!
