The series has 4.8 stars on Google reviews and 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, proving the show a success! So.. Who is the mind behind this beloved series? Michael Waldron! And now, he’s about to take on a new project within Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. According to Deadline, Waldron is currently set to write the upcoming Marvel film: Avengers: Kang Dynasty, which is set to premiere in 2026. ©Deadline Previously, he was only set to write the film which would come after, Avengers: Secret Wars, but now Waldron will write both. ©Marvel Destin Daniele Cretton, who was formerly in charge of the script, told Deadline that he would not be directing the upcoming film in order to have time to work on other projects. ©Marvel Studios Kang Dynasty is currently set to debut on May 1st, 2026, with Secret Wars set to debut on May 7th, 2027, which will wrap up Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 6 features.
