Disney4me
Have you ever wondered how Disney determines the Genie+ prices per day? Genie+ Well, we noticed something about the prices while in the parks recently that might shed a bit of insight into how the virtual planning assistant is priced. While we were in the parks last week, days before Thanksgiving, we saw Genie+ hit the highest price we’ve seen in a long time. On Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the Genie+ Multiple Parks and Magic Kingdom options hit $35 and eventually sold out later in the day (on Monday). ©Disney But now, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the prices have seemingly gone back to normal. The Multiple Parks and Magic Kingdom options were showing $25 each while EPCOT was $18, Disney’s Hollywood Studios was $22, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom was $26. ©Disney That is a $10 DROP in price in a matter of days! Remember, Genie+ is part of the My Disney Experience app and is a paid service that allows you to get Disney’s version of skip-the-line passes– Lightning Lanes. You can pay for it each day you’re in the park or add it to your tickets when you purchase them. When you use Genie+ you also have access to PhotoPass for attractions and Audio Tales. ©Disney We’ll be keeping our eyes on Genie+ as we get nearer the holidays!
