Hey, Mickey!

And, if that character just so happens to be one you can actually meet in the parks, well, that’s even better! We’ve met our fair share of classic Disney icons, but soon, we’ll have another face to say hi to — because Disney just announced that a new character meet and greet is coming to the parks!

Disney has shared that the live-action version of Ariel from The Little Mermaid will begin greeting folks in the parks soon! To celebrate the film’s release on May 26th, Ariel will be visiting with guests beginning sometime this summer.

You can find her at Hollywood Studios in Disney World, over at Walt Disney Presents, where you can also see a sneak peek and props from the film. Over at Disneyland Park, Ariel can be seen at the promenade near “it’s a small world.” She’ll even be over a Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris!

Halle Bailey, who plays Ariel in the new live-action film, shared the news thanks to Disney Parks. You can check the video out below:

Disney has shared an official date for when we can expect the live-action Ariel to start greeting guests in Disney World or the other parks, but we’ll be on the lookout for more updates from under the sea! Be sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney park, movies, and more news you can use.
