Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

Entertainment, characters, merchandise, and snacks abound — and you know we’re sharing it all with you! We’ve eaten our way through a few snacks (and are on our way to trying them all!), but now it’s time to check out a sweet treat over on Main Street, U.S.A.!

Over at the Main Street Bakery (a.k.a. Starbucks) we’re trying the new Mickey Mousse Ornament Treat — and no, that’s not a typo! This dessert is a gingerbread mousse with a crispy center and a spiced almond cake with brownie crumble for $6.49.

Mickey Mousse Ornament Treat

Okay, first of all — how adorable is this little treat?! It comes in a globe for easy carrying and looks just like an ornament you’d hang on a Christmas tree. And it tastes good, too! The mousse is light, fluffy, and has plenty of gingerbread flavor which we really enjoyed.

It comes in a cute little globe!

The spiced almond cake was moist and tasted just like Christmas thanks to those warm and festive spices. There are some unexpected popping rock candies inside the treat that didn’t add much in terms of flavor, but were a fun surprise and delight. We loved them!

So tiny

You’ll also find some crispy chocolate pearls inside the mousse that added a great crunch to the overall soft dessert. There were brownie bits scattered at the bottom of the globe the treat came in that were fun to scoop up and eat with the mousse. We have no complaints about this treat other than it’s a little small for the price — but it was excellent!

An ornament you can eat

Make sure you head to Main Street Bakery during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to try the Mickey Mousse Ornament Treat! If you haven’t already purchased your tickets to the party, some are still available — but they could sell out, so we’d grab them soon.

We’ll be trying all the new and exclusive party snacks and more, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB and follow along at the link below!
