Holiday decor We had a great time celebrating Halloween in Disney World with special decor, new treats, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but now it’s time for the winter holidays! Even though Christmas and Hanukkah are in December, the holidays start much earlier in Disney World, so you can expect to see a lot of festivities around the parks this month. Without further ado, let’s look at 5 things that will be different in Disney World in November! EPCOT Festival of the Holidays EPCOT festival fans, are you ready? Because the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays kicks off on November 25th, the day after Thanksgiving! Although Disney has not released menus yet, we know what booths will be at the festival and a few menu items are already confirmed to return. When you make your way around the booths, be sure to check out the Holiday Cookie Stroll! The EPCOT Festival of the Holidays! (2021) On top of that, you’ll be able to watch the Candlelight Processional with a variety of celebrity narrators and dining packages are available for the show. As you walk around World Showcase, you’ll see a variety of festive entertainment including Santa and musical acts. Candlelight Processional Finally, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is getting a holiday overlay! This is a new holiday change in EPCOT this year since the ride opened earlier this year and we can’t wait to check it out. Everything Confirmed to Return to EPCOT’s 2022 Festival of the Holidays Fantasmic! Returns Think every show has already returned to Disney World? Think again! Fantasmic! has been closed since the parks closed in early 2020, but in November, it is returning! Fantasmic! sign The show will look a little different than before — there is new technology and a new scene in the show. You might also see some new (but familiar) faces during this nighttime spectacular! The show officially returns on November 3rd. How Fantasmic! Will Look Different in Disney World Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Begins Disney Merriest After Hours are a thing of the past — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins this month on November 8th! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (2019) There are so many things to do during the party including watching the holiday fireworks show, the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, ride overlays, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, exclusive character meet and greets, and more! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party | 2019 We’ll be at the first party of the season, so be sure to check back with us to see EVERYTHING the party has to offer! Everything Announced for the 2022 Holiday Season in Disney World Holiday Decorations In October, we already started to see holiday decorations go up around the parks. However, November is the month that we get FULL. ON. HOLIDAY. just about everywhere you look! The stars will go up in Hollywood Studios, Main Street, U.S.A. will be lined with wreaths, the winter animal decor will arrive in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and each of the World Showcase pavilions will add their own holiday touch in EPCOT. That is a snowflake… Also, the iconic gingerbread displays are returning to some Disney World hotels this year! Be prepared for the life-size gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian, the gingerbread carousel at Disney’s Beach Club, and the gingerbread castle at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! 2021 Grand Floridian Gingerbread House We’ll be on the lookout for ALL of the holiday decor changes (including the enormous Christmas trees), so keep watching DFB for more updates.
