A New SWEET Pumpkin Treat Is Only a Monorail Ride Away From Magic Kingdom!

BOO to you! It’s spooky season in Disney World!

There are just a few short weeks left until Halloween, but Disney has been celebrating for a while now. We’ve been making our way around the parks and hotels trying new treats and people have been enjoying Mickey’s Not-So Scary Halloween Party, which is now sold out. Speaking of those Halloween treats, another one just arrived in Disney World and we tried it — follow along with us!

We’re headed to the hotel that is a Disney foodie’s paradise — Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! Over at Pineapple Lanai, the spot where you can grab a Dole Whip, is now serving up the Not-So-Scary Pumpkin Soft Serve. SpoooOOOoooOOOky!

The treat is made with pumpkin spice flavored soft-serve and coconut haupia with caramel drizzle, graham cracker crumbs, and a white chocolate Mickey-shaped pumpkin. In case you didn’t know, haupia is a Hawaiian coconut pudding. Let’s see how it tastes!

Hello there!

We really enjoyed this one! The pumpkin ice cream was so flavorful, but it wasn’t overwhelming. There are many ingredients in this treat, but this was our favorite part. We think even people who don’t love pumpkin will like the soft serve because the fall spices were the main event here. We also thought the caramel drizzle on top was a nice touch — we just wanted MORE of it!

The white chocolate Mickey on top was fine, but nothing special. Just your typical white chocolate topper from Disney.

As cute as this treat is, it did have some flaws for us. We thought the haupia was an odd thing to mix with the pumpkin ice cream. We weren’t a fan of the texture, so if different textures bother you, you probably won’t like that part of the treat. We also weren’t a huge fan of the graham crackers only because when the ice cream melted (which is inevitable in Florida), the crackers got a bit soggy.

We’ve had other pumpkin soft serve in the past like this one from Auntie Gravity’s in Magic Kingdom and we seem to be impressed by most of them!

If you want to give this a try, you can head to Pineapple Lanai and grab it for $5.49. It’ll be available until October 31st AKA Halloween!
