Disney4me Posted September 9, 2022 Report Share Posted September 9, 2022 Splash Mountain at both Disneyland and Disney World is getting a big makeover soon and turning into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! ©Disney We’ve already seen some concept art for the ride, as well as more details about the characters, and we recently found out about and opening timeline. But, if you’re like us, we’re sure you want to know what it’s actually going to LOOK like, right? Well, good news — we just got a SNEAK PEEK at a model of the ride! We’re at D23 Expo, where we got a full look at a mini model of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! Take a look: A model of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is on display! Look at that model! As you can see, there are a lot of similarities to Splash Mountain, but it’s a lot more lush! You can see a celebration sign on one of the buildings. Look at that! And, there’s a water tower that says “Tiana’s Foods.” So fun! Check out those lights in the tunnel before the drop. Looks like the other side… And, there are some friends down at the bottom of the hill! Look who it is! There are also some things growing on the side of the ride — Tiana is growing the ingredients she needs for her NEW restaurant! What’s growing?! Check out that giant garden! Another angle The queue is getting a makeover, too. check out the new entrance look! Entrance There are more things growing in here as well! What’s that? Cabbage? And, that new logo is on the sign. New logo! Check out what it will look like at night! WOW! And, here’s another look at Tiana! Tiana! Here’s another rendering of the ride during the day. Concept art This theme of growing spices and foods that we will see and experience throughout the attraction is going to bleed into other areas at Disneyland as well. Today, Disney announced that a new restaurant — Tiana’s Palace — is coming to Disneyland (No word on Disney World yet). This restaurant will be located in New Orleans Square. But that’s not all, a new shop was announced as well!! This shop is called Eudora’s Place and will feature Tiana’s spices and sauces. Read MORE about Tiana’s Palace here!
