It feels like just yesterday we were telling you about the Halfway to Halloween treats, and now, Halloween has actually arrived in Disney World! Pumpkin Spice Shadow Cake for Halfway to Halloween We’ve already checked out Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, as well as a ton of things like spooky merchandise, but it IS still only September, so there’s a long time to check out Halloween festivities. There are, however, some other seasonal offerings that are ONLY around for this month, like the monthly flavors over at a very popular bakery in Disney Springs! The September offerings at Gideon’s Bakehouse are HERE! First up, we have the NEW Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie, which is inspired by Gideon’s famous PB Nitro Cold Brew. This is a PB Cookie laced with Freshly Ground Espresso and fully covered in chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Reese’s Pieces (UH, YUM!). You can get it for $6. Cookie time! You already know we had to try it out for ourselves! This cookie is an absolute DREAM for people who love the combo of peanut butter and chocolate. Delish It also has a nice mix of the coffee flavor with the peanut butter flavor, so you get both — one doesn’t overpower the other. Would you try this? Just be careful, because the cookie melts very easily in the heat which makes it really messy due to all of the candy on the cookie! So much flavor! If you’re looking for a hefty sweet treat and like chocolate, peanut butter, and coffee — this is for you! If you want a dessert that’s on the lighter side and has more refreshing flavors, this cookie is not where you’re going to find that. This cookie is available every day (while supplies last) in September at Gideon’s and they’re limited to 2 per person. We’re loving the fall colors from the candy There is also a new coffee available this month! It’s the French Toast Nitro Cold Brew, which Gideon’s says brings together your breakfast and coffee all at once. You can get it for $6. Coffee time! And, duh, we got this one to try out, too! It’s made with maple syrup and ground cinnamon. Breakfast coffee! This coffee had a great flavor that wasn’t overly sweet and it was very tasty! The cinnamon flavor is definitely noticeable but it’s not overwhelmingly strong. Are you a sweet coffee fan? This drink is on the sweeter side when it comes to coffee and you mostly taste the other flavors of the French toast rather than the coffee flavor. So, if you’re looking for a coffee drink that tastes like coffee, this isn’t gonna do it for ya. But, if you want a sweeter way to get some caffeine and enjoy these flavors, give it a try! Tasty! Those aren’t the only exciting things at Gideon’s this month — there is also a new T-shirt that combines all of the portraits inside the bakehouse at Disney Springs to make up One Big Creepy Family. It’s a unisex T-shirt and is available right now in stores and online. It’s also available in stores and online. @gideonsbakehouse via Instagram Gideon’s also posted this design of a baby version of their Gargoyle (which is apparently known in the ancient tongue as Águbadijádzs, and they’re calling the baby Babegubadijádzs). You can find him on their menu at Disney Springs for a couple weeks, and then they say there will be a mid-month surprise! Gideon’s mentioned that they could be possibly working on a line of children’s clothing or a coloring book. So cute!
