Cinderella Castle The resort has the potential to look different each time you visit, thanks to new merchandise, seasonal décor, festivals, special events, reopenings, and more! And honestly, it can be pretty difficult to keep up with all of the changes. But don’t worry — we’ll do the work for you! Prepare for all of the newest changes hitting Disney World by checking out the 6 things that will be different in August! Halloween Yes — Halloween will arrive to Disney World in August! That means, during your August trip, you’ll see Halloween decorations sprinkled around the resort — including fall-colored banners… Gotta Love the Banners …pumpkins, and more! We Love Halloween Time in the Parks And we can’t forget about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The parties start on August 12, so you can expect to see Magic Kingdom close early to regular-ticket guests at 6PM on event nights — August 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th, and 30th. Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular The party runs from 7PM to Midnight, and is full of trick-or-treating, entertainment, characters in their Halloween costumes, and exclusive access to the attractions! If you’re hoping to partake in the festivities, party tickets are still available online for most of the dates. Grab you’re own before they start to sell out! Learn More About Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Here More EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Booths If you’ve enjoyed digging into the festival items around EPCOT, you’ll want to check out the new booths that are joining the party in August! That’s right, there are some late additions to the festival (fashionably late, obvi). That includes the Coastal Eats booth… Coastal Eats in 2019 …Hawai’i booth… Hawai’i Booth in 2021 …Mac & Eats booth… Mac+ Eats Booth …and the Noodle Exchange booth! Noodle Exchange Booth These booths will be opening on August 15th, so be sure to head over to EPCOT to give them a try! Check Out Our Must-Eats and Must-Drinks From The 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Disney Springs Flavors of Florida We’ve been getting a taste of Florida, thanks to the Flavors of Florida Event in Disney Springs. Fun Dole Whip creations, frozen spiked drinks, and tasty bites flooded the area for the event — and we’ve been pleasantly surprised by some of the offerings. Watermelon Dole Whip Taco However, not all of the items were winners (looking at you, Blood Orange Éclair). With that being said, we’re still pretty bummed to see Flavors of Florida end on August 15th. So be sure to give some of the items a taste before they’re gone! Check Out ALL of the Flavors of Florida Offerings Here Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Reopens We’ve been waiting (and waiting) for the reopening of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and it’s finally happening in August! On August 25th, to be exact! Reservations will also be opening in early August, so you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for that. It’s Coming BACK! Here, Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices will transform guests ages 3 to 12 into their favorite Disney characters with different hair styling, costumes, makeup, and accessories. The reopening also includes a new hair accessory specifically for textured hair, and new costumes for Disney’s newest heroes and heroines! Check Out More About the Reopening of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Here Buffets Return to Hollywood & Vine If you’re anything like us, you appreciate a buffet. And you may have noticed that many buffet-style locations around the resort reopened as family-style or pre fixe dining. One of those dining locations is Hollywood & Vine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Hollywood & Vine They reopened with a pre fixe menu instead of their normal buffet-style dining. But on August 28th, they’ll be bringing back their buffet! We’ve been enjoying the pre fixe food offerings, so we hope the buffet continues to impress us! Check Out More About The Return of Buffets Here BoardWalk Deli – Probable BoardWalk Bakery is being transformed into BoardWalk Deli, and we’re pretty excited to taste the new items. And it;s expected to open on August 15th according to hours on the website! ©Disney Disney’s website shows the hours of operation generally falling from 7AM-10PM. While we believe this points toward August 15th as the opening date for the location, we can’t know for sure until Disney confirms. We’ll keep watching for any movement on that front.
