Disney4me
Did you miss us? It’s time to go over what’s new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Disneys Animal Kingdom Not only did we find a purse living in the future, but we also tried a must-have summer snack! Check out what we found in Animal Kingdom this week! Animal Kingdom Food Updates This week we ordered the plant-based Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl for $12.99 at Satu’li Canteen, which is crispy fried tofu seasoned with chili-spice, topped with crunchy vegetable slaw and boba balls, served with your choice of base and sauce. We chose the red and sweet potato hash base with the plant-based charred green onion vinaigrette. A Cast Member let us know that this vinaigrette once contained honey, but at this time it no longer does. Chili Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl The only other base that is plant-based at Satu’li Canteen is the rice and beans, so this is a great option for people with plant-based diets! You can find Satu’li Canteen in Pandora. Check out our recent review of Satu’li Canteen here! Caravan Road was open for day two of a soft opening, and we tried the Watermelon Shaved Ice for $4.99. We really enjoyed how this tasted like real watermelon juice without being overly sweet. Watermelon Shaved Ice at Caravan Road! Caravan Road is a spot that you won’t always find open in Animal Kingdom, but shaved ice, like their Mango Passion Fruit Shaved Ice, can be a delicious and refreshing treat on a hot summer day! Animal Kingdom Construction Updates In DinoLand U.S.A., Restaurantosaurus has been undergoing some construction, and now the stairs are once again open! The stairs are open!
