There has been a lot going on in the park lately — one ride is closed for renovations while another has been completely demolished! There were also some big crowds in the park over the weekend for Thanksgiving. We’ve been regularly checking out what’s going on in the park to keep you in the loop, so let’s take a look at what’s new in Animal Kingdom! Animal Kingdom Food Updates Satu’li Canteen We found a rare treat once again in Pandora! The Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse is only around for a short time each year and is made with Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse with Chocolate Cookie Crumbles, Pumpkin Sauce, and Boba Pearls. It’s so pretty! This is a great one for pumpkin fans, but it’s sadly already gone! They really mean it when they say “available for a limited time.” Click here to see our review of the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Mousse Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe We found two new beers at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe! They weren’t on the menu, but the Cast Member said they had been there for a little while. Sailfish Brewing Company Beers One is an IPA and the other is a Wit beer. Both are $9 each! Isle of Java Isle of Java is now serving the Island Sunrise drink you can also get over at The Smiling Crocodile! Have you tried this? It’s basically a POG juice margarita! You can get it for $12. Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates Zuri’s Sweets We found Goofy’s Candy Co. sugar tubes over at Zuri’s Sweets again! Sugar Tubes But that’s not the only place in Animal Kingdom you can find this sweet treat. Chester and Hester’s They are also available at Chester and Hester’s! Who wants a sugar rush? In here, we also found new Goofy and Donald patches from the Vault Collection for $9.99 each. Vault Patches There were some new clothing items in here, as well. We saw this cute little Mickey and Minnie hooded dress for kids that has “forever Mickey” stitched into the collar area for $39.99. Mickey Dress We also saw some new sweatpants for $34.99… Minnie sweatpants …and a sweatshirt for $64.99. Minnie and Daisy And, we stumbled upon some unicorn candy in here. Unicorn candy looks delicious We guess unicorns eat candy…that seems fitting! Riverside Depot In Riverside Depot, we saw that delicious holiday popcorn mix we’ve seen in Magic Kingdom recently! It’s cocoa flavored and is $6.99. YUM There’s also a new Spider-Man pin in here, just in time for the new movie! Spider-Man Pin Just another fun pin to add to your Marvel collection! Discovery Trading Company We saw this new kids Moana shirt in Discovery Depot! You can get it for $19.99. Free as the ocean! We also saw a lot of fun new jewelry in here. Like this Simba bracelet for $19.99… Remember Who You Are …necklace for $19.99… Simba Necklace …and earrings for $14.99. Simba Earrings There were also some general Disney World jewelry in the store like Mickey studs for $19.99… All different sizes of Mickey! …and a castle stud set for $19.99. Castle earrings And, don’t forget to check out the Holiday Baublebar collection in here! So festive and fun! Finally, we found these nice new pink Minnie Mouse sweatpants. New sweats! Get these for $49.99. Mombasa Marketplace Looking for some new ostrich socks? Of course you are! Check out these guys. A little angry there… And, the back looks like the back of an ostrich! Funny or creepy? Would you wear these? We would! Island Mercantile The new Encanto collection is in Island Mercantile now! We had previously seen it in Disney Springs, but we finally saw the items over here! Encanto collection There’s a fun toucan plush for $22.99… Toucan …a kids zip up jacket for $49.99… Looks soft! …some colorful new shirts as well as those pretty embroidered ears… We’re still in love with the ears …a Mirabel doll and kid’s dress… The colors in this collection are everything …a mystery pin set and other pins… Pins galore! …and a super vibrant and fun new Loungefly! How creative! And, not a part of the Encanto collection but cool nonetheless, is this new M28 baseball hat! New hat It’s giving us all the classic Mickey vibes. Pin Cart – Asia And finally, we saw pins for sale at a stand in Asia! The Cast Member was able to take cashless payments on a tablet for a small amount of mystery pins. Mystery pins!
