We’re in the parks alllll the time because we like to keep you updated with new things we see! And, as things are gearing up for the big 50th anniversary celebration on October 1st, there has been a lot of changes around Disney World’s original park. So, let’s go see what’s new in Magic Kingdom! Magic Kingdom Food Updates Sunshine Seasons The Back Side of Water treat has returned!! It was missing for a little while, but now it’s back! This treat went on the menu originally to celebrate the new updates to Jungle Cruise the ride and the premiere of Jungle Cruise the movie. Welcome back! It’s Cotton Candy and Vanilla Soft-serve, Sprite, and a Sour Belt for $6.29. Go over and grab it before it disappears again! Magic Kingdom Construction Updates Entrance & Transportation and Ticket Center The Transportation and Ticket Center got a new paint job on its ticket booth entrances! New paint! There is also a new Annual Passholder sign for the entrance into Magic Kingdom! New sign! The yellow matches the new design of the updated Annual Passholder program. Many of the golden character statues for Disney World’s 50th anniversary have been installed in Magic Kingdom! We found many of them around the Hub, like Mickey… Mickey Statue …Minnie… Minnie Statue …Pooh and Piglet… Pooh and Piglet …Goofy and Pluto… Goofy and Pluto …Donald and Daisy… Donald and Daisy …Tinkerbell… Tinker Bell …Dumbo… Dumbo …Chip and Dale… Chip and Dale …and Lady and the Tramp! Lady and Tramp We also got a glimpse at what some of them might look like at night once the celebration begins! So pretty! We can’t wait to see all of the statues when they’re installed! Click here to see where you can find all of the character statues so far Also added for the 50th anniversary are these new Cinderella pumpkin wreaths around the Hub! Cinderella Pumpkins They’re perfect for celebrating both the anniversary AND Halloween! Cinderella Pumpkins These new wreaths are so fun and creative, but don’t worry, the Mickey wreaths are still lining Main Street, U.S.A.! Click here to see more of the new Cinderella wreaths! Back up at the Train Station, the bushes have been removed! However, the stairs are still blocked off. Guests will just have to admire the pretty train station from below for now! No more bushes! At Main Street Confectionery, the construction walls are gone! Main Street Confectionery Hopefully this means we will see the Magic Kingdom favorite open back up soon! Tomorrowland Another fun character statue popped up in Tomorrowland — Stitch! Experiment 626 He is on the side of the famous Purple Wall! Stitch on the Purple Wall What a crazy little creature! Fantasyland We found more new character statues in Fantasyland! Check out Jaq and Gus on the side of the castle. Jaq and Gus Gus We also saw Pinocchio around Cinderella Castle! 50th Anniversary decorations are already popping up! And we were so excited to find Cogsworth and Lumiere as well! Cogsworth and Lumiere We also spotted the Cheshire Cat lurking around! Cheshire Cat Back at Big Top Souvenirs, the banners have been removed and the entrance sign is back up! Big Top Souvenirs It’s looking pretty good, if we do say so ourselves. The sign is back! We saw even more painting being done inside “it’s a small world.” More colors! But, it still doesn’t look like they’re completely finished! Still a little bit to go! As Disney gets ready to launch its new Genie+ system that will be replacing FastPass+, Lightning Lane signs have been going up around the parks! We have already seen a few in Magic Kingdom, but now, there are even more! We saw a new sign at Peter Pan’s Flight… New sign! …Mad Tea Party… Mad Tea Party …Dumbo… Dumbo Lightning Lane …and Mickey’s PhilharMagic! New Sign took over former FastPass+ Lane It looks like we’re getting closer to the new Genie+ system launching! Click here to read more about Disney Genie Frontierland In Frontierland, the construction walls have come down at Country Bear Jamboree! No detour required! No need to go around anymore! Adventureland And in Adventureland, we found the super cute Orange Bird statue near Skipper Canteen! Orange Bird! He’s chillin’ on this EARidescent pole. We love this little guy! This one is definitely a fun one to look out for! Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates Emporium We found some fun new merch in the Emporium, like this Mickey and Minnie Halloween Countdown Calendar! You can get this for $49.99. Countdown to Halloween! We also saw the Apple Cider cans we previously saw in Animal Kingdom over here now! Cider! There are 3 different flavors: Red Apple, Caramel Apple, and Spiced Apple. You can get all of them for $14.99! We want to try them all! We’ve seen a cool Maleficent Spirit Jersey in Disneyland, but we finally found it over here on the East Coast! How awesome are these colors! It’s SO colorful and has some great graphics on it. Back of Spirit Jersey We love the little details! Watch out for that dragon (spoiler alert: it’s Maleficent!) We think we’ll definitely be adding this one to our collection! Star Traders Over in Star Traders, the new Stitch Crashes Snow White Collection was released! They are both $34.99 each. New Band Designs There was also a new Iron Man magnet for $14.99! Iron Man And we found Spider-Man and Captain America phone cases… Avengers: ASSEMBLE …which also had matching magnets! Magnets Looking for a new MagicBand? Check out these new slap bracelet MagicBand designs! We have Grogu… Baby Grogu …Minnie Mouse… Minnie Mouse …Spider-Man… Spider-Man …and Star Wars! Star Wars Grab one and slap it on your wrist! Frontier Trading Post We also found these new slap bracelet MagicBands in Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland! These are all $29.99 each. MagicBands And we saw two new postcard pins for the 50th anniversary! One is of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the other is of the Magic Kingdom Train Station. New Pins Both are limited edition and $21.99. Memento Mori And in Memento Mori, we found two new shirts! The first is this Hitchhiking Ghosts Flannel for kids for $39.99. So cute! The back shows those funny ghosts! Watch out, they’ll follow you! And then we saw this new Madame Leota shirt for $39.99! Madame Leota Shirt It’s trimmed in tulle on the bottom and sleeves! Details Perfect for Spooky Season! Magic Kingdom Additional Updates The PhotoPass Photographers have a slightly new look to them! They’re wearing the same costume, but without the vest!
