Disney’s Hollywood Studios And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in! Disney’s Hollywood Studios Food Update Trolley Car Cafe Now that Princess Week is here, there are so many treats around the parks (and, of course, we’ve been snacking our way through all of them). And, the Merida Cupcake has returned once again over at the Trolley Car Cafe in honor of the celebration! Your destiny lies within you! The Merida Cupcake is made with chocolate cake, caramel filling, and green and orange vanilla-flavored buttercream, gold crisp pearls, and a chocolate arrow on top. Carmel filling… YUM! While the chocolate and caramel combo was simple, the cupcake was totally satisfying with its rich and sweet flavors! While you’re making your way around Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can find snag the Merida Cupcake for yourself for $5.49. Read our review of the Merida Cupcake here! Hollywood Scoops and Sunshine Day Bar Halloween treats have arrived around the parks, and we couldn’t be happier! While we already tried LOTS of them in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed that the Candy Corn Shake had a placard at Hollywood Scoops for $9.49… Candy Corn Shake Placard …as well as the Sweet Poison placard at the Sunshine Day Bar, which is also available at the Oasis Canteen and Animation Bar for $14. Sweet Poison Placard Dockside Diner Gertie the dinosaur is rejoicing because Dockside Diner has officially reopened with a brand NEW menu on Echo Lake! Dockside Diner Plenty of tables are near the quick-service restaurant, which has reopened with Mobile Order. Seating Guests can now indulge in eats like Smoked Fish Dip… Smoked Fish Dip …Shrimp Salad Roll… Look at the shrimp on that baby! …Chipotle Chicken Salad Roll… Chicken salad …and Macaroni & Cheese and a PB&J Uncrustable on the kids’ menu! Mac ‘n’ cheese. Oh, yeah! The dessert options include the Seaside Brownie… Isn’t it cute? …as well as regular AND boozy milkshakes. (Yum, right?) Getting our shake on There’s also a list of cocktails and beers available, like the Blue Sea Margarita. Margarita Time! Of course, we had to order it ALL to give your our opinions on the menu items! Find out everything you need to know about the new menu at Dockside Diner! Tune-In Lounge Whenever we’ve visited the 50’s Prime Time Café recently, we’ve been missing the sister Tune-in Lounge bar. But, the good news is that it’s now OPEN with some major changes, though! Tune-In!! There used to be couches and bar seating in the area, but they have since been removed at this time. Plus, all the drinks are being served in plastic cups right now! Inside the Tune-In Lounge! Specialty cocktails that fans love are available once again, like Dad’s Electric Lemonade and Magical Star Cocktail… Cocktails! …along with wine and beer options! Wine and Beer! But, we helped ourselves to an Old Fashioned with Maker’s Mark to fit the vibe of the ’50s aesthetic! Old Fashioned with Maker’s Mark! Tune-In Lounge is now open from 10:45AM to 9PM daily in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Check out the reopened Tune-In Lounge! Disney’s Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update Celebrity 5 & 10 Mary Blair items have popped up around the parks and online recently for fans of whimsical and beautiful artwork! And, we spotted the gorgeous Alice in Wonderland Tumbler on the shelves of Celebrity 5 & 10… Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland Tumbler …with inspiration from the scene from “All in a Golden Afternoon” for $22.99. Mary Blair Alice in Wonderland Tumbler The shelves were also stocked with a new DJ Mickey Hat for $27.99 that’s also available at Rock Around the Shop. DJ Mickey Hat Mickey’s of Hollywood Speaking of Halloween, Mickey’s of Hollywood has been decked out in all sorts of spooky items as a one-stop-shop for your collectibles! This is HALLOWEEN! There are various items like doormats, backpacks… Halloween Merchandise …mugs, pillows… Halloween Merchandise …candy jars… Mickey Pumpkin Candy Bowl …light-up spinners, and more! Mickey Pumpkin Light-Up Spinner Legends of Hollywood The brand new Stoney Clover Lane Disney Princess Collection popped up in the Magic Kingdom first, but now we’ve spotted it in Disney’s Hollywood Studios too! You can take home the accessories decorated with Disney Princess characters and symbols with the Heart Pouch for $138… Heart Pouch …Belt Bag (or fanny pack) for $138… Fanny Pack …Backpack for $218 and a Mini Backpack for $198… Backpack Differences …and a Duffle Bag for $298! Muppets Phone Case Disney’s Hollywood Studios Entertainment Update Rise of the Resistance We’ve seen Boarding Passes for Rise of the Resistance continue to be available through the late afternoon recently. And, when we were in the park, we noticed they didn’t fully get taken up until around 4PM! However, you can still only ride the attraction once per day. Rise of the Resistance Once we were on the attraction, we noticed that Kylo Ren was missing from his big finale scene (maybe he actually got sucked out of his ship?? ).
