So we headed out to Magic Kingdom to see what’s new since our last visit. Here are all the latest food, construction, and merchandise updates from Magic Kingdom! Magic Kingdom Food Update Adventureland Spring Roll Cart Let’s kick things off with some SUPER exciting news. On our latest visit, we noticed that the spring roll cart near the entrance to Adventureland is finally reopened! Spring Roll Cart at Magic Kingdom We’ve been craving this delicious snack for soooo long, so we had to grab some spring rolls for ourselves! When we stopped by, the cart had both Cheeseburger Spring Rolls and Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls available. Friar’s Nook While we’re on the subject of exciting developments, ANOTHER one of our go-to snack spots has also reopened. That’s right, Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland is now reopened as well! Friar’s Nook And of course, we had to stop by to snag some of those Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tater Bites to celebrate! Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tots We were super excited to see several of our favorite snacks make their triumphant return to Magic Kingdom! Click here to read more about our experience at the newly reopened Friar’s Nook! Magic Kingdom Construction Update Entrance Our first construction update came from before we even entered the park. Earlier this week, we noticed that the Magic Kingdom entry sign was under construction. It turns out, this sign is getting a paint job! Magic Kingdom Entry Sign Construction The sign is being painted a dark blue color with gold accents! Here’s a Closer Look at the Paint Job! We’ll continue to keep an eye on the progress as it moves along, so stay tuned to see the finished product! Check out more photos of the entry sign’s makeover! Main Street, U.S.A. We’ve also got several construction updates from inside the park! Let’s start on Main Street, U.S.A. The construction walls near Casey’s Corner are finally down, which has us hoping that Corn Dog Nuggets could be back soon! Construction Walls are Down Near Casey’s Corner However, entrances to the quick-service location are still blocked off for the time being… Closed Off Section …but there is open access to the First Aid station next door. First Aid “it’s a small world” When Magic Kingdom opened back in July, construction walls surrounded the queue for “it’s a small world” as distancing markers and partitions were put in place. Even though those construction walls were taken down pretty soon after the park’s re-opening, there are NEW construction walls back up at the entrance of “it’s a small world!” Construction Walls at “it’s a small world” While the construction walls extend into Fantasyland, guests can still enter the queue to the attraction. We’re not entirely sure what is being fixed at “it’s a small world,” but a permit has been placed to “remove and reinstall graphics” that we’ll keep an eye on! TRON Coaster Meanwhile, the TRON Coaster has continued to make progress in Tomorrowland (and we can’t help but get more hyped every time we see it)! TRON Construction Recently, the first canopy piece was installed over at the attraction as the indoor and outdoor sections of the coaster are built. TRON Construction When the attraction opens, guests will be able to travel through the Grid before blasting off on a high-speed ride on the TRON Coaster’s curving track! Right now, Disney is aiming for a 2021 debut, but we’ll continue to keep you updated on the attraction’s progress. TRON Construction Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update Emporium We might have been obsessed with the new Disney Dogs Dooney and Bourke collection, but everybody wants to be a cat, you know! And, while you’re at home watching Disney+ with your feline friends, you can sip on Fall drinks in the Marie Mug… Marie Mug from the Emporium …that features Marie’s adorable pink bow as the handle for $19.99! Marie Mug from the Emporium Take a look at all the details on the Marie Mug here! But, you can also enjoy your own DIY Pumpkin Spice Latte as you chill out with the Disney Princess Mug, featuring all our favorite heroines! Princess Mug You can spot favorites such as Moana, Ariel, and Cinderella… Princess Mug …along with Tiana, Belle, and even Merida in a colorful design on the mug surrounding Cinderella Castle! Princess Mug The inside of the Disney Princess Mug is a gorgeous pink like Aurora’s gown with the saying “Fierce, bold, strong” to remind you just how amazing you are for $14.99. Princess Mug While they’re not new, we felt like the Haunted Mansion Gift Cards that you can find in stores are also a great way to purchase the mugs or all the Halloween merchandise around the parks. The 3D cards have Madame Leota closing… Madame Leota Gift Card …and then opening her pretty green eyes, just like the tombstone outside of the Haunted Mansion does!
