Disney4me
Welcome, world travelers, to EPCOT! We swung by the good old Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow to check out everything that’s shiny and new! EPCOT Come along with us as we share all the latest construction, food, and merchandise updates! EPCOT Food Updates We have a few exciting food updates to bring you from World Showcase! The first bit of news is that the beer cart in Canada has returned! This isn’t brand new to EPCOT, but this is the first time we’re spotting it since the park reopened in July! Canada Beer Cart The cart offers beverages ranging in price from $8-$11. Canada Beer Cart Over in the Norway Pavilion, we discovered a fun new twist to our beloved School Bread! This fan-favorite snack now comes with a white chocolate Bruni on top from Frozen 2! School Bread with Bruni The Frozen franchise has really gotten a stronghold on the Norway Pavilion over the last few years. They’ve even taken over the classic School Bread! School Bread with Bruni You can grab this coconut-covered delight in the Norway Pavilion for $4.25. Read MORE about the Bruni School Bread here! Good news!! While Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the U.K. Pavilion was closed when we visited. It will finally be reopening. But at this time, it will only be open on the weekends. Yorkshire County Fish Shop Keep this in mind if you’re heading to EPCOT on a weekday! If you want your Fish and Chips, you’re going to have to head to Rose and Crown. Read more about the reopening of the Yorkshire County Fish Shop here! Across World Showcase, in the Mexico Pavilion, we learned on our last trip that La Cava del Tequila was temporarily sold out of pineapple juice! La Cava del Tequila That means that unfortunately, until they restock they cannot serve certain drinks off their menu, including their Pina Loca. Sold out of pineapple! We were told that they hope to be restocked later this week! EPCOT Construction Updates EPCOT seems to be the queen of construction lately as the park prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2022. As the park undergoes its lengthy and extensive refurbishment process, we’re starting to notice more new additions! On our most recent visit, we spotted something new before we even stepped foot into the park! New signage has been added to the main entrance area as well at the MagicBand checkpoints. New EPCOT Signage There was a new entrance sign… EPCOT Entrance Sign …as well as an Exit sign… EPCOT Exit Sign …and even a new sign for Passholders! EPCOT Passholder Entrance Sign There was also new signage directing guests to various transportation pick-up and drop-off locations. EPCOT Transportation Signage Heading into EPCOT, we spotted some projects as well as a few operational updates we’d like to share! Heading towards World Showcase, we spotted new construction walls around the splash pad area. EPCOT Construction Walls If there’s anything EPCOT has been in dire need of, it’s DEFINITELY more construction walls. But hey, it’s progress! EPCOT Construction Walls We also discovered construction walls up that extend from the end of the Italy Pavilion, all the way to the back of Joffrey’s in the American Adventure Pavilion! Italy Construction At this moment we are unsure exactly what is under construction, but we will surely keep a close eye on this project! Don’t worry, your arms can still get a good work out in as you crank the pressed penny wheel! Pressed Penny Machine in the American Adventure Other Pavilions have already switched over to the credit card-style machine, while others still accept coins as a form of payment.
