Disney4me
Greetings from Magic Kingdom! With Halloween food offerings in full swing, we’ve certainly been busy keeping up with some of our seasonal favorites. But that isn’t the only thing happening in Disney World! Main Street U.S.A. And since our last visit to Magic Kingdom, there are ALREADY a ton of updates! So, let’s dive right in and take a look at all of the latest construction, food, and merchandise happenings! Magic Kingdom Food Updates Castle Hub Refreshment Cart We’re kicking off our food roundup from Magic Kingdom with an update on the souvenir buckets available this Halloween season! We’ve seen several of these buckets pop up around the park, including the Mickey Pumpkin Bucket and the Oogie Boogie Bucket. Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Balloon Popcorn Bucket But on our most recent trip, we noticed that these two popcorn buckets are now available with a serving of Churros! Black and Orange Churros in an Oogie Boogie Bucket Be sure to swing by the Castle Hub Refreshment Cart to score a side of Churros with your Oogie Boogie or Mickey Pumpkin Bucket! Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe We also scored big time at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe! Not only were we able to grab an Ezra Sipper… Ezra Sipper …but we also enjoyed a couple of delicious fall and Halloween-inspired dishes! The Hades Nachos have returned just in time for the Halloween season for $12.79. Hades Nachos For those with more of a sweet tooth, we THOROUGHLY enjoyed the Cinnamon Donut Holes. Cinnamon Donut Holes You can get the donut holes by themself for $4.99, or you can score a souvenir Hitchhiking Ghost container to come with them for $16.99. Pinocchio Village Haus Another iconic Halloween treat to return to Magic Kingdom this year is the Not So Poison Apple Cupcake! Not So Poison Apple Cupcake This tasty treat is a spiced apple cupcake with pecan crunch and PLENTY of buttercream frosting on top. There’s a reason why this cupcake is one of our favorites! Pick one up at Pinocchio Village Haus for $6.99. Storybook Treats We also stopped by Storybook Treats for the return of the Poor Unfortunate Souls Float! This Ursula-inspired dessert is back in Magic Kingdom for $6.99. Poor Unfortunate Souls To put it mildly, we did NOT enjoy this float when we tried it at the Villains After Hours Event earlier this year, but the tiniest change in the recipe made a HUGE difference for us this time! Previously, the float was made with black raspberry soft-serve and Cherry Coke. NOW, it’s Cream Cheese soft-serve (trust us, it’s delicious!), black raspberry syrup, and Coke! Poor Unfortunate Souls While we would’ve passed on a second helping of the Poor Unfortunate Souls Float back in February, we would totally grab another now! Click here to see how the Poor Unfortunate Souls Float is DIFFERENT now! Multiple Locations Who doesn’t love a SALE? On our trip to Magic Kingdom we spotted a Buy One, Get One sale for pre-packaged snacks! Hollywood Studios Candy Sale – Same as Magic Kingdom’s! This sale has also been spotted at Disney’s POP Century Resort, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom so keep a watchful eye next time you’re in Disney World! Westward Ho Refreshments Also, next time you’re in Magic Kingdom, be sure to check in on the status of Westward Ho Refreshments. We were thrilled when we found they were serving our beloved Corn Dog Nuggets on a recent trip to the park! Corn Dog Nuggets from Westward Ho But unfortunately, Westward Ho Refreshments was closed this time around. Westward Ho – Closed! A Cast Member there told us that it will only be open on busier days, so for now, it looks like we can’t get Corn Dog Nuggets whenever we want! Click here to read more about the TRIUMPHANT return of the Corn Dog Nuggets in Magic Kingdom! Sleepy Hollow Finally, we swung by Sleepy Hollow to check on the status of their long lines! Since the arrival of the Madame Leota Sipper Cup, Sleepy Hollow has been THE place to be. Madame Leota Sipper Cup The lines at Sleepy Hollow have been pretty long — even longer than some of Magic Kingdom’s most popular attractions! Line to Get the Madame Leota Sipper Cup Today was no exception, as a Cast Member told us that the average wait time was 40 minutes! The lines have been pretty consistent all day, so if you want one of these sippers, it’s best to arrive early! Or, you can give the Liberty Square Ticket Office a try, where there have been hardly ANY lines for the sipper cup. Click here to see the MASSIVE lines we saw at Sleepy Hollow the other day! Magic Kingdom Construction Updates We’ve been keeping a watchful eye on the latest TRON Lightcycle Run construction! TRON Construction as of September 8 While the construction was halted during the park closure, work is now progressing along! TRON Construction as of September 8 Construction has been picked back up in stages since the parks reopened, and we’ll continue to keep an eye on the progress! Click here to learn more about the current status of several Disney World construction projects! Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates The Emporium There were a few new merchandise items we spotted on our last trip to The Emporium on Main Street U.S.A. First up is this Ursula shirt! We recently spotted it in Disney Springs, and it has since made its way to Magic Kingdom! Embrace your inner villain with this shirt for $39.99. Ursula Shirt in The Emporium And us humans don’t have to be the only ones in the family decked out in our favorite Disney characters! We spotted this ADORABLE Baby Yoda spirit jersey for dogs! BABY YODA SPIRIT JERSEY FOR YOUR PUP Finally, we spotted this GORGEOUS Beauty and the Beast notebook! Beauty and the Beast notebook – inside Just look at how it glistens in the daylight! Beauty and the Beast notebook The notebook can be found in The Emporium for $29.99.
