Disney4me
Well, Tree of Life, you’re looking particularly snazzy today! Tree of Life You guessed it! We’re in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today to take a look at everything new in Disney World’s WILDEST park. After all, we love staying up to date on the AK happenings. Let’s take a look at ALL the updates in food, construction, and merchandise in Animal Kingdom! Animal Kingdom Food Updates As always, we’re starting with the food updates! In Windtraders we spotted this Pandora Expedition Trail Mix marked as new for $5.49. Interestingly enough, we’ve actually seen this mix before with the same ingredients — they’re just listed in a different order now. We’re not sure what’s up with that! Pandora Expedition Trail Mix Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe has had a bunch of changes to the menu, most notably the addition of the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Teriyaki Chicken Salad. Honestly, we were pretty big fans of the sandwich. After all, they loaded us up with sauce, and we LOVE sauce. Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and Fries The menu has also lost several options including the Teriyaki Beef Bowl, American Kobe Beef Hot Dog, Asian Chicken Wrap, Ginger Chicken Salad, single Pork Egg Roll option, and the smaller Chicken Fried Rice side option. Click here to read our REVIEW of the new Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich! Animal Kingdom Construction Updates We recently heard that Primeval Whirl would be leaving us for good. Now, the first sign of this ride’s demise is here with the removal of the ride vehicles from the track. Primeval Whirl We’re so sad to see it go! Want to see more of the changes at Primeval Whirl? Click here! Nearby, we spotted a new Pin Trading Experience location in the spot where Goofy used to have meet and greets. Pin Trading Experience Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates That’s all for construction and food, so let’s move on to the merch! Riverside Depot Perhaps our favorite merch find was this Lumiere and Cogsworth Spatula Set for $19.99. Adding to the Jungle Cruise merchandise party we’ve been seeing around Disney World, we spotted this Jungle Cruise Pin Set for$24.99. Jungle Cruise Pin Set If you’re trying to get a little into pin trading (good on you, they’ll love it!), you can snag this new-to-us Winnie the Pooh Pin Starter Set for $32.99. It includes a lanyard and four Pooh pins! Winnie the Pooh Pin Starter Set And we spotted two cute new tees for $24.99! There’s this adorable Dug Shirt… Dug Shirt …and this COOL Scar Shirt!
