Plant-Based Cuisine Guide And according to CNBC.com, Disney has just officially announced it will be working in partnership with Impossible Foods (makers of the Impossible Burger) to bring more even meat alternative solutions to Disney’s hungry masses. Due to growing health concerns and an awareness of the impact of raising livestock has on the environment, a new classification of dietary needs is emerging. They’re known as “flexitarians” and while many don’t identify themselves as entirely vegetarian or omnivorous, they’re folks who are looking for healthy meat alternatives to reduce their daily meat intake. That’s where Disney is hoping Impossible Burger will fill in! Earth Day Impossible Burger at Animal Kingdom Impossible Burger will now be the “preferred plant-based burger” of Disneyland, Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line, which likely means we’ll be seeing more of the meat substitute product at the Disney parks. This year, the Disney Calfornia Adventure will offer an Impossible Meatball Submarine at Paradise Garden Grill when the 2020 Food and Wine Festival begins February 28th as well as the returning Petite Impossible Burger with guacamole and pepper jack cheese at Avocado Time and an Impossible Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese at Nuts About Cheese. And when Epcot’s 2020 Flower and Garden Festival kicks off March 4th in Disney World, you’ll find an Impossible Farmhouse Meatball with lentil bread, spinach, marinated vegetables, and creamy herb dressing at Trowel & Trellis, an outdoor kitchen hosted by Impossible Foods.
