Disney4me
Hey, everybody! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New in Epcot! Epcot As the 2020 International Festival of the Arts winds down and Epcot gears up for its big International Flower and Garden Festival, we’ve ready shown you a sneak peek of some of the new Spike, Orange Bird and Mickey-themed merch you’ll be able to nab once the springtime celebration begins March 4th! But while a wait for the Flower and Garden food booth menus to be released (which could be ANY DAY NOW, fingers crossed!) let’s see what’s been happening at Epcot since our last visit! Construction Update at Epcot ENTRANCE Epcot is definitely looking a little “different” these days, and today we noticed a change before we even stepped foot in the park! A new directional sign has sprung up just outside of the main entrance! Epcot Entrance Directional Signage FUTURE WORLD Meanwhile, there are directional signs aplenty once you go inside Epcot! Cast Members were manning some arrow signs directing the flow of traffic now that the area behind Spaceship Earth is closed off to guests. Cast Members in Front of Spaceship Earth Find out how to get around Epcot’s Future World right now HERE! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind We also checked in on the current status of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind which is currently slated to open sometime in 2021. Guardians of the Galaxy Construction The workers looked a little warm on the rooftop, but at least they had a pop-tent to provide some relief from the sun! Guardians of the Galaxy Construction Find out more about the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster HERE! Taste Track While Eats at The Epcot Experience opened last week (shortly before Electric Umbrella’s closure) we’ve yet to see Taste Track start feeding the hungry masses! Taste Track Check out our review of Eats at The Epcot Experience HERE! It looks like we could be seeing it open relatively soon, so we’ll keep an eye on it and let you know when it’s time to pull in for a pitstop! Taste Track Coming Soon Sign Read more about the new menu that will be coming soon to Taste Track here! Future World FastPass Kiosks As you may recall, earlier this month we spotted what appeared to be some new FastPass kiosks just outside of Test Track. Test Track FastPass Kiosk They were covered up the last time we saw them, but despite being uncovered today, they weren’t working quite right for us when we scanned our cards! Test Track FastPass Kiosk Over by The Seas pavilion, we spotted even more new FastPass kiosks! Future World FastPass Kiosks We had much better success with these ones! You can use these kiosks to make FastPasses at any of the Disney World parks, like this Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run FastPass we just scored at Hollywood Studios! Future World FastPass Kiosk Mission: SPACE Strolling over by Mission: Space, the moon was looking a little more purplish. Maybe it’s just going through a phase, though! Mission: SPACE Epcot Food Update WORLD SHOWCASE Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts and Barbecue Perhaps the biggest news to go down at Epcot yesterday was Regal Eagle Smokehouse’s grand opening! Regal Eagle Smokehouse The new quick-service restaurant located in the World Showcase’s American Adventure pavilion is a salute to all cook-offs — but mostly barbecue!! Just look at how many varieties of regional bbq sauces they have “on-tap!” Regal Eagle Smokehouse We gotta say, after enjoying the smoky, juicy meat offerings at other Disney joints such as The Polite Pig and Flame Tree Barbecue, we have some pretty high standards when it comes to BBQ, but after tasting some of the Regal Eagle Smokehouse’s new eats, we were pretty whooed by their BBQ too! Memphis Dry Rub Pork Ribs Plus there’s a gorgeous outdoor patio in addition to their large indoor dining room! When the weather’s nice, this is going to be THE spot to be! Regal Eagle Smokehouse We tried A LOT of smokey meats, sides, desserts, and drinks yesterday! Read our review of Regal Eagle Smokehouse HERE! Regal Eagle’s walk-up bar is also now open! They serve a wider variety of beers, ciders, wine, and mixed drinks in addition to some of the same ones you’ll find inside! Regal Eagle’s Outdoor Bar Find out more about Regal Eagle’s Outdoor Patio Bar here! Block and Hans In other American Adventure pavilion-related news, Block and Hans has added Redstone Black Raspberry Nectar Mead to their menu — sounds delicious! Block and Hans Menu Germany Bier Cart After Club Cool closed, we were getting our Mezzo Mix fix at the Germany Bier Cart. That was until they began experiencing some trouble with their slushy machines. It appears they’ve just had a new one installed, so hopefully, there’ll be some delicious frozen orange-flavored Coca-Cola drink with or without bourbon in our future again soon — stay tuned! Germany Bier Cast Mezzo Mix Machine Read our REVIEW of the Germany Bier Cart Mezzo Mix HERE! Kringla Bakeri Even though everyone’s attention was centered around Regal Eagle Smokehouse yesterday, it would have been pretty hard for this MASSIVE Chocolate Caramel Brownie to go unnoticed by us! Kringla Bakeri is dishing them out for $5.99 a pop! Chocolate Caramel Brownie at Kringla Bakeri Click here to read our FULL REVIEW of the new Chocolate Caramel Brownie! We also noticed Kringla’s Frozen 2 Mini Cupcakes had received a bit of a mini makeover since the last time we saw them! Frozen 2 Mini Cupcakes See what the Frozen 2 Spirit Cupcakes previously looked like HERE! Sunshine Seasons You don’t have to be a veggie lover to enjoy the new Vegan Blackberry Cupcakefor $5.59 that Sunshine Seasons is currently baking up! This thing is seriously legit, even for a bunch of carnivores like us! Vegan Blackberry Specialty Cupcake See our FULL REVIEW of the new Vegan Blackberry Specialty Cupcake HERE! Merchandise Update at Epcot WORLD SHOWCASE This week’s Epcot Times Guide confirmed what we suspected was true earlier when we saw times were no longer listed for this experience after February 17th online — Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is officially over! We hope you had the chance to partake in the Phineas and Ferb scavenger hunt before it ended! Epcot Times Guide Read more about what will be replacing the Phineas and Ferb scavenger hunt here! After filling up on Regal Eagle Smokehouse’s fine American eats, we checked out the American Adventure pavilion kiosk to scope out the new Regal Eagle commemorative merch! Check out the Regal Eagle Shirt for $24.99! Regal Eagle Smokehouse T-Shirt And also this new Regal Eagle Drinking Glass for $14.99! It looks like it holds about a pint of liquid to us! Regal Eagle Drinking Glass Click here for more details about the new Regal Eagle Smokehouse merchandise! Mouse Gear At the temporary Mouse Gear, we discovered some new Novelty Socks were in stock! Check out this cute pair which features Cinderella Castle for $14.99! Novelty Socks And how adorable are these new Sorcerer Mickey Socks? They’re also $14.99! Novelty Socks We also spotted more of the Ink & Paint Collection at Mouse Gear! Don’t forget — the new Ink & Paint Dooney and Bourke Bags are dropping tomorrow! Ink & Paint Collection Of course, we still can’t get over how cute this little Ink & Paint Pencil Case is! We’d love to sew a little strap on this thing and carry it like a purse! Ink & Paint Pencil Case At some of the Festival of the Arts merchandise kiosks, we spotted some new Art Prints featuring artwork for two new coming soon Epcot experiences! There’s this new Space 220 Art Print for $90! Space 220 Restaraunt Art Print Some of the designs on the new poster remind us of the concept artwork we’ve seen so far — like this “transporter” that takes you up to the restaurant 220 miles above the Earth’s surface! Space 220 Restaraunt Art Print Learn more about the new Space 220 Restaurant HERE! We also spotted this Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Art Print for $90!
