Depending on which Disney World mode of transportation you choose, you can see A LOT of stuff sometimes — including some behind the scenes construction progress!

That’s why today, while we were riding “high in the sky” on Disney Skyliner’s Epcot line, we snapped a few pics of the construction happening behind the France Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase!

While the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is now open, we’ve yet to see Le Creperie and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure make their big debut at Epcot!

Read everything you want to know about Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure before it opens here!

And while we’ve known for awhile these two new experiences would be opening sometime in the summer of 2020, Disney hasn’t announced an exact date yet for either the new attraction or restaurant!

Did you know Le Creperie is a NEW sitdown, table-service restaurant coming soon to Disney World? Find out more details about it HERE!

While most of this France pavilion construction is visible from the World Showcase and the International Gateway, it’s what’s around the corner that you’ll wanna hop on a gondola to check out for yourself — otherwise, just keep scrolling!

Several workers were working on a covered structure. We think this may be the exterior queue for the attraction because it looks very similar to the one in Paris!

Facade work is also continuing to progress rapidly as a little Parisian neighborhood begins to sprout up before our very eyes!

We just love the playful juxtaposition and color scheme that the new France Pavilion skyline features. The forced perspective (an optical trick the Disney Imagineers use to create the feeling of “layers” and “depth”) really make false cityscape look and feel so real!

As you begin to wrap around the metal and glass awnings, you’ll see a large concrete wall that weaves around some rather large utility boxes.

To our eyes, it looks like this back area will be Cast Members-only, but we’ll continue to monitor its progression and keep giving you more updates — including when it’s time to book those Le Creperie reservations and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure FastPasses!

And while France is looking a long way from finished at the moment, the World Showcase’s other new resident Regal Eagle Smokehouse looks like it could open any day now! We’ve been watching it like a hawk to let you know when it’s finally time to enjoy some American-style BBQ — so don’t turn that dial!
